Mike DaSilva and his crew worked on-site. They did a good job and we got compliments from a wide variety of people (including other trades), which was a great sign. They were good with clean-up as well. Mike also did the concrete pad for our Shed's location and drilled the holes for the gazebo's posts so that it was very secure. They did not build the shed or the gazebo shown in the picture. They started April 27, 2015 and this "final" picture was taken May 7, 2015. The time taken to complete the job matched our expectations.

Mike and his guys were brilliant. Arrived on time, left the site spotless, the end product was amazing and on budget. We have worked on many projects. These guys were the best: professional, great to work with, and delivered what they promised. A rarity. We highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure dealing with Mike and his crew - the work came in on time and exactly on budget, and involved building a retaining wall, new fence, landscaping the backyard, installing a new patio and seating wall, gate, and building new stairs from the deck. The work was beautiful and Mike's design ideas were exactly what we were looking for. When we requested a few modifications to the stair railings, Mike's crew came back the very next day and made the requested changes with no hassle and no extra cost - we really appreciated the attention to detail and professional and courteous service and would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

Mike and his crew were tremendous! Originally, he came to the house when promised, reviewed our ideas and requests, made some very good suggestions and then proceeded to complete the work exactly when he said he would, for the exact amount quoted. In every single way, Mike and his perfectionist, courteous crew exceeded our expectations. The work was meticulous and completed within the exact time frame that he set out. He encouraged input at all stages, made any adjustments that were necessary, and sought to satisfy us with his work. He didn't ask for a down payment or advance, and was happy to receive a cheque for full payment when everything was completely finished. Compared to other companies that offered "design experiences" for the same job at $18 000 to $20 000, Mike's final price of $7 000 was a bargain! The neighbours also appreciated that he kept the site clean, during work and at the end of each day. Since the job has been finished, even complete strangers going by the house remark on his work. You couldn't choose a better company to do your work. These guys set a new standard for fair, reliable, quality contracting!

The old patio in my recently purchased house sloped towards the building. I originally asked Mike if he could re-slope it for me; after chatting, we decided to re-do the whole thing in interlock. The work was done exactly how it was agreed on, in the time agreed on, and looked great. I asked Mike for a much larger quote to re-do the driveway, front patio, and some landscaping. Family things got in the way and I was not able to proceed, but when I reached out to him 2 years later he was still willing to honor the original estimate, despite costs having increased. Mike was always happy to discuss options and ideas, never made me feel bad about changing my mind or wanting to explore other options. I'd have no hesitation in firing him again (too bad he doesn't do asphalt :) ).

Mike was responsive to our inquiry, came to view the property and discuss our needs, and provided an initial design and estimate in a timely fashion. Once the contract was signed, Mike got started and did a wonderful job on the backyard. The job included the removal and replacement of the deck, removal and replacement of the patio stones (as well as an extension of the driveway), and preparation of the remaining property for new sod. The job also included keeping the adjoining neighbours' share of the driveway intact. We gladly relied on Mike to provide input on materials and how best to manage particular areas. Mike and his team arrived promptly each morning, and ensured the yard was tidy at the end of each working day. They worked efficiently - so much so the job was completed ahead of schedule. Overall, Mike was a pleasure to work with and gave us a beautiful backyard to enjoy. We will absolutely call on him again when we are ready for the next job!

My old wooden retaining wall was leaning like the tower in Pisa, so I contacted Mike from Paradise Views for a quote and discussed materials for a new wall, steps and pathway. After reviewing numerous photos on houzz I knew I wanted natural stone for the retaining wall. Mike came to the stone yard with me and helped me pick the appropriate stone for the job. He was very knowledgable about the construction of this type of wall and his crew was very pleasant, courteous , hardworking and efficient. They were at my home every day as promised until the job was done. We used flagstone for the front stairs and recycled my pavers for the walkway. For the wall we chose stonescape - a charcoal coloured stone with a lot of texture. Mike selected additional material for the pathway to complement the flagstone on the stairs and which works well with the wall. I am very pleased with the finished project. Celia - Toronto, Ontario

We hired Paradise Views Landscaping two years ago to install a front walkway. Mike and his team did such a great job that we had them back the following year to install a backyard patio and walkway. Again, the job was beautifully done and we get nothing but compliments.

Great experience hiring Mike at Paradise Views for a front garden re-design at my mother-in-law's home in Bloor West. Mike and his team are honest, hardworking contractors. They showed up early everyday, and completed the project as promised on time and on budget. They really put the contractors our next door neighbors used to shame. We will definitely use Mike in the future for landscape work.

Mike & his Paradise Views team did a great job with removing existing old bricks & pavers & installing 2 patios, 2 walkways & 2 small sets of steps. The materials selected look great. The work was done right on schedule and the results were terrific. Mike even was able to reduce our cost from the original quote. We would not hesitate to recommend him!
