Daimon and his crew created a beautiful walkway, driveway and raised flowerbed. They were punctual and the craftsmanship is terrific. Daimon is friendly and earnest - he gave us a number of options but also offered his best recommendations. He also diplomatically helped us navigate a challenge with a difficult neighbour. We were incredibly happy with the quality of work and the level of professionalism shown by Damon and his team. They build a 50 foot retaining wall for us and put in long days until it was done. PROJECT: I was redoing an interlocking stone driveway that required old stone removal, and redoing the driveway with new interlocking stones from scratch. As well as widening the driveway an additional 2 feet. And doing a patio up to the front entrance. ------------------------------------------------ GREAT ATTITUDE: I met with and got quotes from 3 TOP HOMESTARS Contractors before finally deciding to go with Daimon and ASHLAR LANDSCAPES. I wanted to ensure I had a reliable, trustworthy and competent individual, that I felt personally comfortable with. Daimon and his team proved to be all those things and more. From the initial friendly and courteous consultation, he displayed an extremely patient demeanor. His team is JUST AS personable, good-natured, and HARD WORKING as Daimon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WORK: Excellent workmanship is hard to come by. Coupled with a very likable personality it's no wonder they are at the top of their field. None of my requests were taken in vain, No promises were unfulfilled, and No detail of work was unsatisfactory. We were given a multitude of options, and even suggestions but never with pressure or over pushy. Advice was given on landscaping ideas without the feel of a bias monetary persuasion. (he actually steered me away from additional add-ons I wanted indicating he could do it with ease but would not be worth the amount spent in long run) They would start diligently in the morning, work the day right through, thoroughly cleaning up after themselves and accommodating in any way they could. I was home for the duration of the project and monitored the amount of detail that went into the job. Along the way the would keep me abreast of all the little things they were doing in the process that would ensure the driveways longevity in the long run. Me being a stickler for craftsmanship I can assure you .. no corners were cut. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRICE: Daimon was VERY COMPETITIVELY priced to competitors. He came in under my budget. and Daimon adhered to his original quote even though he did several small renditions there was never a markup. I HIGHLY recommend DAIMON AND ASHLAR LANDSCAPES for any project you may have big or small .. As the suggestions that he made turned out a more beautiful project than I had imagined. I was very pleased with their end project as well as their work throughout. I am having Daimon and the crew come back in the spring 2013 to do some landscaping and patio work in the backyard

Ashlar Landscapes did a great job with the snow removal for my driveway and front entrance last season. They showed up promptly after each snowfall and had my property cleared quickly, carefully and meticulously. Daimon was really flexible, and offered the option of a contact or "per snowfall" pricing. Daimon's staff showed up to remove the accumulated snow from my driveway and front entrance, and salted in order to keep down on ice build up after a storm. We had spent most of the summer trying to find someone to fix up our patio, after getting quotes from numerous companies, Daimon was like a breath of fresh air. He was very mindful of our budget and offered many great suggestions that worked within our budget. Although we had asked many other companies to give us a quote with a breakdown of what each item costs, Daimon was the only person that actually did it. His quote was fair in comparison to other quotes we had received. With his quote being itemized we were able to fine tune exactly what we wanted and keep within our budget. He also offered us a much longer warranty compared to all the other companies. That alone told us that his work was going to be high quality. For these reasons plus Daimon being such a personable guy-we hired Ashlar Landscapes. The actual work Daimon and his crew (Matt & James) did was phenomenal.
