Called Shift Air Mechanical December 26 due to our furnace fan not working and to our surprise our call was answered. Melissa told us Kathy would get back to us December 27 to arrange a service call. Kathy calls us December 27 and tells us Brent will come that day. Brent arrives later that day and is able to get the fan working much to our relief; he was professional and pleasant. We are so appreciative of how Shift Air handled our problem. It needs to be noted that we live approx 100 km from their office and it is Christmas. We will not hesitate to recommend Shift Air. My old AC unit was not keeping up with the demand. The system was found to have a leak and the freon charge was low. They replaced the leaking schrader valve and suggested replacing the expensive hard to get R22 refrigerant with the more readily available MO99 which is a direct replacement. They were fast, on time and courteous. I would highly recommend them.Answer from pro:

When our Franken-Trane finally quit, my first thought went immediately to the team at Shift Air, as they had previously done such an outstanding job installing a garage heater. They listened to my concerns re: cold spots and fluctuating temps and hooked us up with a Daikin that has performed flawlessly. The temp in the house did not once move from its settings, the furnace is super quiet and, best of all, we have not had to call for service since Joseph's excellent installation job!! Extremely happy with professionalism and dedication of the Shift Air team and now await death of Franken-Trane a/cAnswer from pro:

We owe a HUGE thanks to Brent, Paul and the team at Shift Air for going out of their way to help us on Boxing Day and Dec 27 when our furnace stopped working (the entire Province is in a deep freeze !). They responded immediately and walked us through the issue until it was resolved. I’ve never had such amazing customer service. Everything from the initial quote from the onsite meeting with Brent was top notch. Excellent communication for the dates for coring and throughout the installation. Nick the installer was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Even had drop cloth from the front door, down the stairs and into the mechanical room. Top notch service. In the case of your air conditioner you were only charged for the installation of the equipment in 2017; you were provided with a quote and agreed to the cost as being fair. For the first three years with the equipment you enjoyed the air conditioner and there were no problems despite not performing the recommended annual maintenance. When you reached out last year we were happy to schedule a service appointment which you later cancelled. This is not a situation of poor service. We would be happy to find a resolution for you and discuss the concerns further. Our team is always available to answer any questions or schedule a service appointment.

I do my research. The company’s reputation and of course, price is by far the highest priority. Shift Air rose to the challenge and exceeded my expectations. Their installation of the furnace and hot water tank were great and my husband and I are very happy with the installation and professional service that was provided throughout the process.
