Incredible workmanship and service! Of all of the work I've had done on my house, Wendell is the one I would fully endorse. The Eavestrough Company provided a very competitive estimate. They started the job on time and finished on time. The Eavestrough Company did an amazing job and they cleaned up all debris perfectly. Extremely dissatisfied. They were late doing the job, but right on time asking for their money. It required several phone calls and many excuses before the project finally began six weeks after the promised start. After the first snow we had ice dams and icicles, where there had been none previously. Wendell promised to come and investigate. Six weeks later...nothing. Contacted him again after another snow and more ice dams and icicles. Passed the buck to the roofer who had installed a new roof several weeks before the soffit and fascia. In contrast, the roofer, came within an hour and verified that it was not a venting problem, but an eavestrough problem. He removed eavestrough and six inches of ice from roof. He will return in spring to redo the eavestrough properly. Apparently it was not installed properly and we would continue to have problems (more leaking, more water damage) with every snowfall. Would not recommend Superior Eavestrough to anyone because of their poor responsiveness and lack of accountability for worksmanship issues.

Hi Mary, It saddens me to read this review. I pride myself in quality work and service. I certainly feel badly that we did not respond to your initial service call in a timely manner, and for that I apologize. However, the initial 2 week installation delay was due to inclement weather (out of our control), and we did compensate you for that. When you phoned on February 11 regarding a 6" ice dam on your eaves and roof area, we could not come to your house for service immediately. I discussed matters with your roofer and he volunteered to look at the issue to expedite resolution for you. His discovery was that there was indeed, an Ice Dam protruding 6" high. I understand fully that you are upset with the situation, I would be too. Just to be clear: neither the eavestrough nor the roof creates an ice dam. The root cause of the problem starts further up and extends into the attic area of the home and is caused by a few things (quantity of precipitation, differing roof temperatures & external freezing temperature). I do believe that there are experts that can assist you with this, and will be more than happy to send them your way. I also hope to come and reinstall the eavestrough that the roofer removed (the short term solution) gratis, of course. I do appreciate your feedback & hope to resolve this with you soon. After reading the reviews about Wendell decided to contact him. He came out and gave me an excellent quote. No pressure. Gave me options re cost. He and his people actually came and installed prior to a big storm. They cleaned out the gutters and installed quickly. They cleaned up very well. All of this was done when I was not even at home! He even trusted me to pay after the fact. I met his wife and gave payment a week later without any problem. I have had no problems so far with the guards and I am satisfied. I also feel comfortable that if I saw a problem in the future he would come back and make it right. Trust Wendell!

After reading all the positive ratings on Homestars about Superior Exterior I decided to have Wendell come out and give me a quote. It was very competitive and only a little bit higher than a previous quote I'd been given. Wendell was very thorough in his explanation of what they would be doing and about how the drainage would work after moving my downspouts. He also explained that given the poor condition of the fascia it might need to be replaced and quoted me a price for that and let me know that it would have to be painted and roughly how much the painting would cost. Given that the price for cladding the fascia in aluminum was the same as painting it, I felt it was better to let Superior Exterior clad it and then I wouldn't have to worry about the wood rotting or finding a painter. I chose to have leaf guard installed as well. What I really liked about Wendell was he gave me the worst case scenario pricing so there were no surprises and the price did not magically inflate like they do with many contractors. I am very happy with the work that was done on my home and I would highly recommend this company.

Prompt and friendly service. When I called to get an estimate, they were quick to come out and supplied me with a very competitive price. The work was done very professionally and ahead of my schedule.

My eavestroughs were installed in 1979 and were in rough shape. There was a small leak just over the front door and ice would pile up in the winter and lock me in. They were 4” eavestroughs and in a heavy rain they would overflow everywhere, defeating the purpose of having them. I recently bought a rain barrel and I was concerned about removing it for the winter. One company I got a quote from really had no idea how to handle this. Superior Exterior had no problem with this situation and had a very simple solution that I could manage on my own. I was very impressed with their knowledge and their workmanship. One person I know had new eavestroughs installed by another company and has had problems with drainage. Wendell knew exactly why that had happened and told me how it should have been done to prevent it. He also noticed that the upper eavestrough dumped water straight onto the lower roof and he solved that problem too. (I have a back-split house with 2 roofs.) The installers were very experienced, efficient, knowledgeable and polite. I was asking a lot of questions and they had the answers. Installing is not as simple as it looks. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very honesty ,friendly and trust worthy company .They treated our home like they would their own. Reasonably priced and they aim to please. The work that they did made our house look fantastic.

My eavestroughs were in terrible condition and they were leaking in nearly every corner. The one over the front walk was treacherous in winter time because it would turn to ice. I contacted Superior Exterior Eavestrough on a Monday and Wendell came out the following Tuesday to give me an estimate. I was amazed that he was 15 minutes early for the estimate! I had two other quotes and Superior Exterior Eavestrough came in about $75 higher than the cheapest quote. I decided to go with Superior Exterior because Wendell took so much care with the estimate and explained things in such detail. He gave great information on downpipe relocation that the others did not offer or explain. Needless to say, the eavestrough job was done on time and to perfection! I am really happy with my new eavestrough and gutter protection. It is raining today and they are working perfectly and there are no leaks. I recommend this company!
