He did a spectacular job on our main floor and his craftsmanship is second to none. The moldings look great and all corners and seams are flawless. Richard did a tremendous job on the crown moulding in my condo. He was very quick to get back to me with a consult and was super-punctual on the days he did the job. Amazing results! Richard returned my call promply, found an opening in his schedule and within 2 hours last Wednesday morning my two renovated bedrooms were sporting their brand new, perfectly trimmed out Crown Mouldings! We contacted Richard for a quote. He turned up very early on a Saturday, less than 24 hours after the initial contact, and gave a very detailed and competitive quote. He explained some of the challenges he would face with the project and the solutions he would employ. We gathered other quotes but no one else gave us the comfort level Richard had. We went with Richard and booked the install date. Richard and his colleague turned up again very early and worked straight through until the job was one. Both Richard and his colleague were very friendly and they did a fantastic job. It really has improved the look of our upstairs. I was contemplating doing the job myself but the work was done far more quickly and professionally than I could ever have managed. We would have no hesitation in recommending Unique Custom Moldings and Trim to family & friends.

Richard is a consummate professional who takes pride in his work, is honest, true to his word, respectful, and very fairly priced. Our home is a1920’s semi that has seen a number of changes over the years. The area where the moulding was installed had numerous issues which several other companies said they couldn’t/wouldn’t do. Richard’s attitude was “I love a challenge.” He called 2 days prior to the install date to confirm everything, and also called on the morning of the install to say he might be a few minutes late due to heavy traffic. When he arrived he offered 2 ideas to address one particularly odd area. He had been thinking about it since our first meeting – weeks earlier. Although it’s hard to see, the area shown has a beam running along the ceiling and the ceilings on either side of the beam are different heights. Additionally this beam is very close (but not attached to) a wall post. As you can see from the picture – Richard did an amazing job. It turned out better than we had hoped. We couldn’t be happier with Richard’s work and will definitely have him back as we renovate the remainder or our home. We highly recommend Richard.

My husband and I have nothing negative but only good compliments to give to Richard for the crown mouldings that he did to our first floor. He is reliable, responsible and professional. The price he gave us for installing crown mouldings throughout the first floor (hallway, living room, dining room, kitchen and powder room) is very reasonable. He promised to come to work on a Saturday morning at 7:00am and at 6:50am, he was already there outside our house. He worked with another contractor whose name is Paul and both of them did an excellent job. They made all the cuts on the driveway (even we offered to let them use the garage due to the cold weather). They took good care of the cabinets and made sure to keep our home clean. Both Richard and Paul work amazingly and quickly, by 12:30, all the mouldings were installed perfectly and seamlessly (no visible nail holes). We are extremely satisfied and for sure will have him back to do the 2nd floor. Definitely will recommend Richard to friends and relatives!
