Our home was built in the 1920s and the siding was a concrete/rock mix applied to lathe... very thick and very heavy. Ecowest was hired to remove all the old siding, replace it with Hardy shingle and Hardy board, paint and a few extra odds and ends. Overall Ecowest was professional and trustworthy. We had a few missteps on schedule and payments but the quality of work was first rate and there were no surprises on costs.

We had our front door replaced by Ecowest, and are very pleased with the result. We had a small miscommunication during the install in regards to the doorbell, but a service call made several months after the fact (I am a terrible procrastinator) provided us with some very reasonable options for correction. The door and sidelight look amazing and work great!

Last summer, we decided to extend our master suite, which involved reconfiguring the layout of the floorplan. This was in conjuction with the replacement of the roof, which was handled by another company. We researched several contracting companies and chose the best bid, which was moderate. Ecowest won the bid due to the fact that they were very thorough in the initial consulation, pointing out improvements which we hadn't thought of. They helped us make wise decisions which saved time and money as opposed to constant change of decisions--due in part to the well-thought out planning. From the first call to final clean-up, they were professional and went beyond the call of duty. We plan of having them work on our next project should we ever need to.

We demolished the old part of our house and had it rebuilt, plus added a third floor. Ecowest was very professional, and what they promised they carried through. I found that if they made a mistake they admitted to it, and not only rectified it but went over and beyond to fix it, even if it meant at their own expense.

Researched various window replacements companies and found this company to offer great quality window products at a competitive price. Installed in one day. The new windows keep the house warmer in winter and cooler in summer and keep out exterior noise. They look more modern and add to the value of the house. I would not recommend getting the barrier product put on that is supposed to eliminate cleaning the exterior of the windows. Product was applied to the upper floor windows to save on cleaning using a ladder. This product does not keep the windows any cleaner than those on the ground level.

We hired Ecowest to do our exterior as our stucco had peeled off and cracked. They are not the cheapest contractor, but the crew was professional. They clean up all debris and even make sure there were no nails on the driveway everyday. After the whole project is ended, they send a guy to clean up everything left behind on the lawn in the backyard. Very satisfied with their job.

We had Westeck windows and a furnace installed in our 28 year old house. I felt the price was reasonable and the federal and provincial rebates definitely helped. The installation went very well and we are very pleased with the quality of the windows and furnace. Ecowest owners Aaron and Shawn were really helpful throughout the whole process. The installers were punctual, friendly and able to answer any questions we had. We had to have a window pane replaced due to a manufacturers defect and Ecowest arranged the whole process. It was fixed right away. Very pleased with them and would definitely recommend and use their services again. More renos coming up and will be contacting them again for certain.

Ecowest did an absolutely amazing job on our bathroom. The quality of the materials and the installation was excellent. We had a Valor gas fireplace installed by Ecowest in February of 2012. They did a superb job and even though our existing fireplace opening was a little tricky, they made it look classy. Afterwards we had some trouble with a faulty part and Ecowest was very helpful in figuring out the problem and making it right.
