The standard poured concreate sidewalk, pavers, and horrid scalloped garden edging needed to go! I learned about HomeStars from a friend of mine and that's how I found Paul in the Fall of 2010. He was committed, friendly, and stuck by his quote. He came up with a couple creative options that met my budget and design needs. The final outcome was great! A couple weeks after the project was completed I decided to add two more layers to the dray-stacked wall that divides the walkway from teh front garden. Paul still had some stone but it was too late in the season to do the work. During one of the nice weeks in April Paul showed up and did the job. It was so nice to come home to a completely finished job. Highly recommend Paul and his team.

My wife and I purchased our first home last summer and it needed more than a little attention on the outside. The property was overrun with shrubs, dead trees, over grown gardens and a massive hedge. The backyard included a retaining wall that was rotting and no longer structurally sound. The property in general, was not in good condition and required a significant amount of grading. As such grading, water management and waterproofing the house occurred on exterior walls and window wells were added where necessary. Paul worked with us and devised a plan that worked within our budget and executed it. During the project, we discovered the front porch was pulling away from the house. Paul investigated the problem and came back to us with options that allowed us to move forward with the reconstruction of our front entrance without completely blowing our budget. It’s roughed in right now, but will be completed this summer. Paul and his crew were respectful of our home and property and even though it was dirty work, they never left a mess. Paul Falco and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with. From the first consultation, we felt that he really listened to what was important to us, and provided solutions that met all of our needs. We were budget-conscious, especially considering we had a fair amount of work to get done, and Paul gave us a quote that included everything we really needed, excluded extras that we didn’t, and included a few embellishments to really enhance the property and personalize it. We had three other quotes and found that we were unhappy with what plans that were discussed and the total overall value we would have gotten with the other landscapers. We hired Paul in August 2010 to redo our driveway with interlock, build a side walkway, and backyard patio. We also needed to redo the front steps which were not level and unsafe. Paul was prompt, courteous and professional in returning our calls throughout the job, and handling any questions we had. He was happy to provide samples prior to the start of the job so I could make my final colour selections. While the project was underway, Paul was very patient in explaining things when I expressed concerns, and flexible in proceeding so that we would be very happy with the end result. We found he even initiated contact a few times as the job progressed, providing updates before we had the chance to ask, at the end of a long day! Falco Landscaping left the job site very clean and safe at the end of each workday, and the whole team was extremely hardworking throughout their (roughly) two weeks with us. We’ve had lots of compliments from our neighbours. We can’t wait to put in some greenery next year, and spend time on our new backyard patio. I’ve already recommended this company to one family member, and would definitely have Paul back to do work for us again, without hesitation. Paul and the Falco Landscape Design crew did an amazing job on my front and back yard. I am not the kind of person who can maintain a grass yard, and I'm sure my neighbours would attest to that. There was a lot of overgrowth and weeds growing in my yards and I joke that missing milk carton children were in there. Thanks to everyone at Falco that is no longer the case. I tendered a few estimates that ranged considerably and chose to use Falco because he was very professional, knowledgeable. Paul was able to explain the process in detail and answered all of my many questions. During the planning stage I gave Paul an idea of what I had in mind and he made some suggestions that worked out beautifully. In cases where our visions were not the same, Paul was conscious in ensuring the project would satisfy me, the client. Paul and his crew were very professional during the project. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that caused them to arrive later than planned in the morning but this was not really an issue. The crew worked in to the evenings and an early Saturday morning as well to get the job completed. The job site was always left clean and tidy. Our yards presented some out of the ordinary challenges such as drastically uneven fences and city sidewalks but Paul was able to work around this. He went beyond his scope of his responsibilities to ensure these challenges did not compromise the outcome of the work. I was extremely satisfied with the end result of the work. My yard went from two complete extremes and all of my neighbours have complemented me on it, one of whom has asked for Paul's information. Paul made sure I was satisfied by following up afterwards and offered to come back for any finishing touches should it be required but it was not necessary, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Falco Landscape Design. They are very skilled, knowledgeable and professional. You can trust that client satisfaction is their foremost priority. It was definitely worth spending a little bit more money.

Having moved recently to Richmond Hill, my front and back yard was in need of a total makeover. An old hot tum was removed with a 12 foot circle of sane occupying the middle of my back yard. Weeds over 6 feet tall occupied most of my yard and grew through the stone in my back deck. Trees were overgrown, cement block which made up my pathways were crooked and overgrown with weeds. I could not even see my neighbour's backyards. The fron yard was no better. In short, I had the ugliest house in the neighbourhood. In 5 days Paul Falco and his crew completely renewed my yards. Now they are amongst the best in the neighbourhood. During his renovation, my neighbour also hred Paul to do some landscaping for her as well. I am very pleased with my yards now and my yard looks to be twice as big as before now thatit has been properly landscaped.
