Steve came out to assess the problem on the same day I placed the phone call. He ordered the part and returned to fix it on the day he promised. I wouldn't hesitate to use Cascade again in the future. They were pleasant to deal with and very professional.

We have a LG dishwasher that'd been intermittently leaking water over the kitchen floor. Steve explained that LG doesn't distribute their parts outside their service network, so I should know that before I made an appointment. I was swayed be the reviews (and the cost/terrible experience I had in the past with different authorized LG repair crews) and figured I'd be able to get the part off ebay or the internet if I couldn't source it locally. I made an appointment and Steve was terrific to work with, explaining exactly what he was doing and answering all the questions I had. He pulled apart the dishwasher and tested out some common problem areas but wasn't able to find the leak. As we were putting it back together, he found a tiny intermittent drip from the input valve. Steve looked up the part on the Sears parts website, but it wasn't listed. He then suggested a US website that'd recently started shipping to Canada and left me the exact part number I'd need to order. I ended up calling Sears parts and they carried it, even though it wasn't listed online. The part itself was $20, and I was able to install it on my own. Steve was extremely professional and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to call again if I have a dishwasher problem.

In October, 2012 I had another company come to fix a squeaky door on my side by side fridge. The repairman came three times but the squeak kept getting worse so I asked them to send another repairman. But before that could happen, late one night the fridge door just fell off on me. It was extremely heavy with full bins on the inside and a wood panel insert on the outside but I did manage to get it leaning against the freezer side of the fridge. I immediately called that company's emergency number but they refused to come and help me. The said they would order a part but it would take 6 - 8 weeks. They would do nothing to help me put the door back on!!! So I went on line to Home Stars and found Cascade Appliance Service. I called first thing in the morning and Steve came within 2 hours. He was a godsend!! He found that the hinge had been broken off, was missing and would have to be replaced. He checked availability of the replacement hinge and determined that it would take 6 - 8 weeks. But in the meantime he created a temporary hinge out of parts in his tool box and put the door back on so I could use the fridge until the replacement hinge came in. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give Cascade a 20.

Washer needed repair and Steve was fabulous. he appeared on time and was able to fix the problem within 30 minutes. Linda was helpful with booking the appointment and overall I am very happy with their service. I highly recommend Cascade and will definitely use them again.

Steve is a lifesaver. Our dishwasher wasn't draining and we had our housewarming planned, expecting 40 people. I found Cascade on Homestars and was encouraged by the reviews. Well, they are all true. Linda answered my call and we arranged for Steve to come out. He arrived on time, was professional and very reasonably priced. Dishwasher repaired, crisis averted and we know who we'll be calling if we ever need appliances repaired again!

It was Saturday, June 30 and our fridge decided to conk out on us. We were having about 50 people over the next day for a neighbourhood pig roast. We were lucky enough to have a garage fridge to put our essentials in but we were going to need the space. I was prepared to wait until after the holiday to call someone but my husband went online and found Cascade Appliance Repair. He read the other reviews and they were so positive that he thought he would try. He called and Steve decided to come out to Hamilton to look at the fridge. He was there within the hour and discovered the problem right away. He was able to get our fridge running and said he would be back early in the following week to install a permanent cold control in our freezer. He saved our butts and money from having to buy a new fridge. His cost was reasonable and he was so knowledgeable and efficient that we realized that we had definitely called the right person. I would and will highly recommend Cascade Repair with full confidence to anyone who may ask me. How refreshing to find a great repair service!! And we weren't gouged on a holiday weekend like I was expecting. A great company all around!!

I called Cascade based on the recommendation from HomeStars, and they were able to come out the same day (and this is on a weekend!). Cost for the service call was very reasonable. They were honest with me about the issues with the machine, and did not try to sell me any unnecessary parts. Was very impressed with Cascade and would not hesitate to recommend their service.

My fridge had been acting up for a day, slowly getting warmer and warming. Well today I came home to a nearly thawed freezer and warm fridge. Having just done groceries the day before I was in a bit of a panic. After calling several companies and being told the closest appointment would be 5 days later, I tried homestars and found Cascade. While initially discouraged as I got a machine, Steve called me back in minutes and was in my home in less then 45 minutes. Within 10 minutes of his arrival he identified the problem, HAD THE PART IN HAND, and got my fridge working in the time I could have ordered take out! Steve was very professional, tidy, prompt and knowledgeable. He even showed me a few things I didn't even know about the appliance, as well as how to better care for it to prevent a similar problem in the future. On a side note, the fridge had a leaky water supply that I hadn't used in years. I asked him about it, and in seconds found its problem as well. He promised to order the part in a few days, but only after I was satisfied that this repair was done right! As for cost …. had Cascade not come so soon, I would have lost three or four times the value of groceries in the fridge, as I don't have a back up. In other words A BARGIN! Thanks Steve!

Called Cascade Appliance after a recommendation. Steve arrived on time and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We had just put in a new kitchen floor a couple months prior and was concerned it may be damaged. There was no cause for concern as Steve knew exactly what to do to protect the floor.
