I hired Benchmark to do my fence and deck and was happy with their work. They were here when said they were going to be, kept schedule in showing up a couple days before hand to clean the fence before painting and didn't make any mess for me. They did what they said they were going to when they said they were going to do it, and that is rare in this day and age.

I hired Benchmark to do the interior painting of a property in Richmond. Prior to the painting, wall paper had to be removed from several walls and the walls were in poor condition. Also, some walls had to be skim coated, to cover black glue that was remaining after the removal of wood paneling. The preparation of the walls, before painting, was the biggest part of the job. Because Benchmark had a man that had the expertise to do the skim coating, as well as the painting, I didn't have to hire a "drywaller" separately. The work was done quickly and the cost was reasonable. They did an EXCELLENT job! I was extremely happy with the results.

I have hired Benchmark on three separate occasions to do painting in the interior of my home, including ceilings, as well as the exterior of my house. For the exterior job, I had several companies come and give quotes, Benchmark was neither the highest or the lowest of quotes but they did provide a better service than the others. They have always showed up on time and completed the work on schedule and as quoted. They are very professional and I am very satisfied with the work that has been done. Benchmark is a fantastic company. This company was excellent! Our painter went above and beyond what was expected and I truly can't say enough about him, he was wonderful. Upon noticing some blistering in the new paint in the bathroom, our painter stayed many extra hours to rectify it and repaint it to his own satisfaction as well as ours.
