Retaining wall
Holding My Garden Together | Janis Hesleton in EtobicokeAlan and Bart, from Merlin Landscape, made a significant improvement to my back yard. A retaining wall, about 10 years old, was not properly constructed in the first place, resulting in my garden slowly eroding down a steep hill, along with the former wall. With my input, a plan was agreed on, complete with drawings so I could see their vision for the project. A terraced garden was built, with deadman supports, proper drainage and concrete piers below the frost line. After 2 winters the wall has not shifted and I am looking forward to working in the garden soon. Thank you Alan and Bart. You were a pleasure to work with, kept to your schedule, and managed this contract most professionally. I highly recommend Merlin Construction!

Stone Front Door Landing + Pathway
Attention to Detail! | Jamie Robinson in EtobicokeI only had a vague idea of what I wanted, but after meeting with Bart from Merlin I was really impressed with the options they offered me. We worked together to cherry pick the stone design, and the layout we were going to use. The turn-around time to get me a blueprint design and quote was also really fast. Really happy with our new front door landing and the pathway to our driveway. It's the first thing our guests see and I've already recommended merlin to a couple of my friends.

Complete backyard renovation

Backyard and parking area - stone installation
Bart and Alan were fantastic! | Andrea in TorontoBart and Alan were professional, on-time, courteous and did gorgeous, structurally sound work. We were pleased that they provided us with a thorough and detailed estimate, called if they were going to be late and consistently updated us on the status throughout the project. They are very knowledgeable, will not cut corners and ensure that the work will last to ensure your enjoyment. We were extremely happy with the backyard patio area, walls for gardens and parking area. It looks great and it has been solid through the winter. They were both easy to work with, flexible and offered good suggestions to ensure the finished product was fantastic! I would recomend them to my friends and family.

Flagstone front porch, garden bed and interlock landing
Contractors did a great job, would recommend | Cheryl DwaneI had my front porch covered with an Indian sandstone flagstone. The finished product was sloped away from my house properly. No ice has accumulated so far this winter. They also built a small wall surrounding the garden in front of the porch as well as a landing made out of Brussels block. They were very nice people to work with, punctual and helpful. I love the work Merlin Lanscaping has done very much and would recommend them to anyone.

2 garden walls
The Transformation | P.A. Cook in EtobicokeAfter a professional quote from Bart and Alan and after several other quotes, I hired these young men. Their work was professional and they were most helpful in picking out the correct stones for the walls. Each afternoon they cleaned up after themselves and they completed the job on time. I was extremely pleased with the final product and I wouldn't hestitate to have them do more work for me!

Porch renovation + driveway widening
