avoid this company at all costs! They operate illegally and could not care any less about customers and frankly they prey on whoever falls victim to using their services. I was quoted and paid for 2 months of a pod but what they dont tell you is that these pods are illegal and when the bylaw officer comes by and gives a citation and orders it to be removed Pods WILL NOT REMOVE IT. They will not come back to pick up the pod and THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ADDITIONAL MONTHS. Pods refused to comply with the bylaw order to remove the pod and yes they still kept charging me for the pod that they refused to remove and sent it to collections to attempt to bully the money out of me. I spent 5+ hours on the phone trying to get them to pick it up. What they do is restrict you from booking a pick up online, people on the chat feature say they dont have the authority to pick it up, they dont respond to emails and they will put you on hold for over 5 hours in hopes you will hang up so they can keep charging for a pod. When I finally got ahold of someone they said the pod would be picked up that day, it wasnt. Then you have to keep calling them back and waiting 5 hrs to speak to someone to ask why it wasnt picked up to be told "I dont know why they told you it would be picked up, it wasnt scheduled for pick up" I had to repeat this process multiple times all while the bylaw fine for not complying is $5000. Pods was in violation of the order for months! Then when the pod is finally removed the drive way is cracked and crumbling underneath where the pod was and the truck and "podzilla" will drive all over your lawn taking up grass with it. Pods wont respond or address any of the issues. Also Pods will not send you copies of any contracts or agreements, they refuse to provide copies. They refuse to address the issues. They refused to comply with the bylaw laws. They refuse everything. Ive sent them pictures of the drive way multiple times and they claim they dont receive it as a tactic to not pay for the damages. Its been sent multiple times and I checked my outbox to confirm it was sent. How much we want to bet social media @ Pods will respond telling me to email them to discuss the issue as if I havent for months already???

Used PODS for distance move, Toronto to Ottawa. Love the service but has a weak link in Ottawa. Underequipped or something. POD moved very well in Toronto and was In Ottawa day after the date I set for collection from my home. POD sat in PODS Ottawa yard for 6 days before delivery. After emptying it it is another 10 days to get it removed from my driveway, leaving me parking in the street far longer than expected. IN a 31 day month I have been waiting on PODS Ottawa 16 days. The POD was clean, had the capacity I needed and was easy to load. The lock I bought from them is perfect as it would defeat bolt cutters by design - very secure - and they zip tagged it on pickup. Would definitely use again, but would seek more timely commitments from local office. POD was in great shape on delivery to home in Ottawa. The tiedowns did the job (though I would have appreciated a few more tie down loops in the POD) Load intact, no breakage or shifting

We are using the PODS service to store some belongings while we spruce up our house to list it. So far, we are very pleased with the service. There was one hiccup when a more expensive lock we paid for was not provided (hence 9/10 not 10/10) but when I called customer service, they were great and initiated a refund for the lock. They weren't sure why we weren't given the correct lock but they managed the issue very professionally and without trying to blame us somehow. Will update the review after we get the POD back in a few months to report on how they do on the back end.

Since PODS changed ownership, they have been terrible in every aspect...contacts...payments etc... Will not use them again. There are better companies in Ontario. They are the worst for sure. As far as I am concerned, they are making themselves worse by the day....never again

Wow they wrecked my driveway crushing it with the wheels. I send off pictures to someone . then i get an email from someone else asking to send pictures. Cant figure out who is in charge on any matter. No rep comes out. Sure they act all nice on the phone and say they will come get pod if done early. But noone comes to pick it up. Didnt even change the date in the system. Dont recommend this company.

It will be impossible to recommend POD’s to any family, friends or business associates due to the inaccurate quoting, billing and customer service that they provide. The PODS themselves never fit the actual room sizes that they say so you should always expect you to have to add-on to your existing order. We are currently dealing with an issue for our international move regarding inaccurate billing and compounding the issue is nonresponsive and inadequate customer service to address the issues. The all-in quote that I discussed with the representative in great detail was materially different then how their billing system ultimately invoiced us for. The billing has been inaccurate and multiple errors have resulted in POD’s billing us for additional costs which were then auto paid on our credit card that was in the system. To compound the concerns we have with the incorrect billing has been the dismal customer service. We started to address the issues in early September and we are now at the end of November and there has been no resolution. We have made weekly calls to their customer service toll free line detailing the issues with several agents with promises and expectations that someone would call us to discuss and correct (THEY HAVE CONTACTED US BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN CORRECTED AND THEY ARGUED WITH US OVER THE QUOTE). The billing was so inaccurate and full of charges and refunds that it took a full day to reconcile the account to where it should be (28 LINES SHOULD HAVE BEEN BILLED, 81 LINES ON OUR ACCOUNT WITH ANOTHER 23 TO CORRECT THE BILLING). I will say the crew who do delivery and pick up of the PODs themselves were awesome! But based on the overall cost and customer service I would recommend a full service move.

Within 24hrs of posting this review to Yelp I received a call from an Executive Resolution Specialist. We thought finally we would have resolution but this person has been rude, belittling and completely awful. Laying all blame on us and taking no responsibility and not even apologizing for the mess they have made. DO NOT USE PODS!

Right from the time I called PODS for the storage bin,to the time of delivery I received nothing but the best customer service. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family,please keep up the good work. Thanks.

Meh..... Its convenient (simply because they drop off a container at your house)...... But I called on a Wednesday morning to book an appt to access the pod for Thursday and they said "Nope.... cant be done". hmmmmmm kinda crappy when you cant access your unit (even on weekdays).

Easy to book. Very efficient. Driver arrived to drop off the pod exactly when promised. The pod was clean on arrival. We used it as temporary storage while our renovations were being completed. When it was time to remove the pod, it was equally easy to book the removal date and it was collected exactly when they said they would. I would definitely use them again if I needed to.

I am so thrilled that I found about PODS Moving and Storage. I have been using this company for the past 3 years to store my patio furniture, pool equipment and bicycles over the winter months. I use this facility every season for approximately 9 consecutive months. From the time that I first called them, and each and every time that I have called them, the customer service and pricing has been excellent. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and the POD arrives on schedule and in super clean condition. The drop off of the POD and the pick up of the POD is stress free. I am thoroughly pleased with my experience with this company. I must say that Lauren is terrific to work with. I look forward to continuing our long term association. Thank you PODS!
