GOOD JOB!
So Lai in ConcordCrown moulding on first and second floor Capital Columns and Trim was on top of things from the start of first call.
Their follow up was quick, and we didn't have to run after him when we had questions, which is very much appreciated. If you've ever run after trade guys (and who hasn't), you know what I'm talking about.
Thiis company, specializes in crown moulding. The selection was extensive, the crown moulding styles offered are simple, yet elegant, and looks good in almost all decors, so it's a wise choice. The material is MDF, not wood or plaster, and its flexibility allows for easy corrections of uneven walls and ceilings. The price is affordable by most budgets. With no extra surprises, it's well worth enhancing your home.
When the installation crew (a team of 3 guys) showed up, I was absolutely amazed at their skill level. They managed to do most of my first floor within hours, and it looks really good!!! And I MEAN GOOD!
This is perfect, as the seams came out very tight. The work was precise, and looks beautiful, which is way better than drywall compound (that will eventualy dry and crack) or silicon (that cannot be painted over).
The installation crew was careful not to damage anything, and were tidy. Overall, this was an outstanding job, very professionally done.

Very Impressed
Harry GeraColumns, Wainscotting & Trim After reviewing many subcontractors for the tasks we found Capital Columns as they listened to our ideas for the modifications, suggested cost saving alternatives at the same time ensured we would meet all the necessary and complicated requirements.
The first project was flawless and exceeded our expectations in both price, quality and beautiful.
They're team was down to earth with no nonsense communication and sense of humor contributed significantly to the rapid confidence we have gained in their capability.
Since this first project we have used Capital Columns for other projects. All of which were completed with the same professionalism as the first one.
We have another two ongoing projects with Capital Columns and expect to be working with them for years to come for all our building needs large or small.
We consider ourselves very lucky to have picked Capital Columns from the start. We highly recommend Capital Columns for anybody requiring building contractor services for commercial or residential needs.

We hired them to build PVC porch railing for us as well as columns for the exterior of our home. Their workmanship was outstanding and they took great pride in their work.
'Above and beyond' was how we'd describe work on this project and we couldn't be more pleased.Their attention to detail is exceptional.
We will definitely be using Herb and the team at Capital Columns for future renovation projects.

Great Work!
Marnie in TorontoMoldings, Supply and Install I would like to comment on the products service we received from the people at Capital Columns and Trim.
The sales consultant was really easy to talk to, and understood what we wanted and they knew the products well and suggested only what was appropriate for our home for which we were grateful.
I have to say, we were quite impressed by their professionalism; they were so courteous!
The product was installed professionally, clean, and flawless to say the least, most importantly it was done on time and when promised. The quality of the installation in our opinion can’t be matched. They showed such care towards my home.
I compliment the staff of Capital Columns and Trim for the professional attention and for making me feel like more than a customer.
They were also very friendly - something you don't often find these days. Thank you, I will definitely recommend them!

Excellent job installing Columns and Crown molding!
Dave M5MColumns and Crown molding My husband and I discovered Capital Columns & Trim and the Homestars website while doing an internet search.
We called them and were very impressed. Herb answered all of our questions and then came to our house to take measurements. We have an open concept house and his recommendations for our 10' ceilings) throughout the entire main floor, powder room and upper hallway (including a two storey stairwell).
The installers showed up at our home on time and many spent hours on installation.
He said it was straight forward but time consuming because we had 34 additional corners over the allocated quantity. Intallers were very friendly, organized and meticulous.
They re-measured everything, cut the columns and the molding on our driveway, installed it, spackled the nail gun holes and caulked above and below.
It looks absolutely amazing, the rooms look more spaciousm the powder room looks especially beautiful.
The upper hallway and the two storey stairwell really impressed us as well.
We now have a painter working on the house and he is very impressed with the work as well and I definitely recommend having the molding painted afterwards since it does make a wonderful difference in our decor.
This was our first time using Homestars to find a service provider and we will definitely use this website again. We were extremely impressed with Capital Columns and Trim, they did an excellent job and our house now looks amazing!!!

Satisfied in the City!
APontyCrown Moulding We were visited by Capital Columns and Trim and were amazed by the numerous products and the selection they carried.
We spoke with Herb in Sales about our interest in having our complete home done with crown moulding.
He came to our home with samples and provided excellent advice, took measurements and prepared a quote.
We hired them to install crown moulding throughout our home.
We had a difficult area with a half wall that separated our kitchen eating area from our family room and were unsure of how to handle the crown moulding as we wanted to paint the rooms with different colours.
Herb came up with a fantastic idea.
A vertical pilaster was used to define the dinette from the family room with a decorative detail incorporated into the ceiling moulding.
All work was fantastically done in days.
The family and friends have all complimented on the appearance of our home and the workmanship of the crown moulding and have asked us for the contact details for Capital Columns and Trim as they would like to have their homes done.
We highly recommend Capital Columns and Trim for their decorative mouldings, workmanship and client service.

Outstanding Service and Professionalism
terrigibson in EtobicokeColumns Indoor & Outdoor We needed to replace our existing columns because they were rotted and damaged.
We did our homework and we received 4 quotes from four very different companies.
Capital Columns was not the cheapest, however, they do offer the best, they gave the most detail in their quote and it was clear that we were dealing with a company that we could trust who would actually do a great job with the replacement of columns inside and outside our home.
They even provided testimonials, which we made use of, and the crew with Capital Columns met every demand we made of them.
This gave me the most confidence in their quote - nothing hidden - and we were not disappointed.
The installation was superb - they accommodated everything we had asked for even when we changed my mind on details.
No shortcuts were taken, the workmanship and quality were excellent.
But the most important aspect is that the columns inside and outside our home look perfect - getting it right first time gets them top marks for customer satisfaction from me!
I am happy to recommend Capital Columns to anyone looking for true value and confidence that the job will be done right.

You do not need to look further!!
Peter in TorontoCrown Molding and Wainscoting Installation We needed to hire someone to assist us in the revamp of one of our homes.
I called a few companies including Capital Columns and Trim in April. He stood out above everyone else.
They called me back the same day and indicated it was no problem to attend at the house during the visit we scheduled. They were quick to respond and came out to our house the next day to discuss our plans.
This was a huge relief. Herb also verified his attendance immediately - which turned out to be invaluable.
When they visited the house, they measured the place and looked around thoroughly. He was super friendly, had great design ideas and he actually listened to us and worked with us to design what we wanted.
Ultimately together, we came up with innovative ideas for the home. Capital Columns and Trim’s pricing was reasonable, his service is excellent and efficient.
The renovation of our home has been a stressful process, so we were glad when we eventually found such a great team. They constantly kept up communications with us and relieved a lot of stress from the revamp process. Herb is very knowledgeable and made us feel like we were the most important client

Capital Colums & Trim Wins
Sandra Smyth in TorontoColumn Replacement I asked Capital Columns to replace my columns.
The staff was responsive to my calls, provided information via email even without me having to ask them, and had a great attitude.
I got several other quotes for the job, and while many were from companies I didn’t feel as comfortable with.
I felt comfortable that Capital Columns & Trims commitment to doing exceptional work would make them a good choice. I was wrong, they were simply an outstanding choice!
The salesman took 2 days to complete the work, he was careful with demolishing the previous columns, and ensured no property damage occurred as the columns came down.
Their team were professional, accommodating, and courteous at all times while they worked on our house.
Due to the weather, we ended up scheduling the column work on the same day we re-shingled the roof.
Having two different companies on the roof at the same time, working around each other, could have been a problem, but Capital Columns' accommodating attitude made it easy and painless.
They are dedicated, conscientious, and meticulous about their craft.
Our home looks fantastic, it is a perfect match to the house.
They are clearly committed to delivering quality professional work at a fair price, and I would without hesitation, recommended them to neighbors and friends.

Pleasant surprise
ni in TorontoPorch pillar replacement on historic house I spoke to herb on the phone, he came out took a look and emailed me a quote. His guys showed up when promised and did the work in the time promised. the work was done perfectly and we had absolutely no issues. it was that easy.
