We chose Canada Hardwood Flooring based on a recommendation from family members, and after meeting with Stan and Sheila. They were the only company who was able to do it all, and Stan had great advice for me when he gave the quote. Sheila was very helpful leading up the install as well. They got the job done on time even working around other contractors to make it happen. We have had many great comments about our house since the work was done.

My HVAC guy recommended Stan for the job, and I can't thank him and Shelia (in the office) enough for the amazing job they did on my condo floors! The floors were in pretty rough shape, but turned out beautifully. I have two regrets, The first is that I didn't do the bedrooms as well. The second is that I didn't refinish them earlier. I live in a condo and renovating requires certain rules to be respected, (work from 9am-5pm, elevator coordination, dealing with the super, etc) There were no problems with Stan and his crew respecting the rules. I wasn't in town while the work was being done. They came everyday they needed to and locked up at the end of the day, finished the job early and when I came back I was ready to move my furniture back in. Thanks Shelia and Stan!

When our daughter was born, we realized that our absolutely horribly squeaky floors had to be replaced. I did a search for a company to replace our floors for us because we were too busy and tired to do it ourselves. When I came across Canada Hardwood online, I remembered that they sponsored a woman's houseleague team in Pickering that I used to play in. So after reading reviews on Home Stars through the link from their website we decided to get a quote. Sheila returned our email the next day promptly. Stan came out and measured our rooms soon after. Within a few days, we had our quote. We were pleased with the price and went ahead with the bedroom floors. Stan and his son came promptly every morning and were very nice and professional. They called everyday to update the progress and let us know how it was going. After 3 days, they completed our floors. It was not an easy task because of our horrible old flooring and a ton of nails, adding a new subfloor and replacing the stairs. We were very happy with how quickly they finished so we could get back to our normal lives. The floors and stairs look wonderful and no more squeaks!!!! We absolutely love them!!! Stan and his son did a fantastic job. They also went above and beyond by trimming all our doors down so that we could get back into our bedrooms quickly. We really appreciated that as we have very little time because of our baby. I would definitely recommend Canada Hardwood for installing hardwood floors and we plan to use them again when we refinish our main floor living room, kitchen and basement stairs. Stan and Sheila understood our vision and transformed our "ordinary" house to our "Dream House", just like from a Design Magazine. I have never met with a company that is so dedicated to doing a great JOB!! Thanks to everyone , Stan Sheila, Brodie, Chester and George for a GREAT GREAT JOB!!! Looks AWESOME!! The project included refacing all the stairs to our second floor, hardwood in 3 Bedrooms and replacement of the old oak bannister and spindles with updated wrought iron and Oak. All the people were excellent to work with and Chester deserves a star as it was a 14 hour day for him to do the stairs. (Finally had to tell him to go home (LOL). Would I recommend them?? Without a doubt one of the best companies I have worked with. If I could give them a 20 Star Total Rating it would be there!! Great Great JOB!! We are so pleased!! Canada Hardwood Flooring exceeded our expectations. They sanded and restained our existing hardwood, as well as laying a new floor to match. Beautiful stain which was mixed to our request. I was having a really hard time finding a company who could refinish, repair and stain our hardwood floors ASAP and then I called Canada Hardwood Flooring Inc. They were very professional. Stan came out on a Thursday to take a look and immediately put my anxiety to rest. They were able to come and begin the following Wednesday and were finished by Friday and my floors will never be the same! They are absolutely stunning!! Stan fixed a hole in our floors and now I can't even tell where the hole was!!! The colour of the custom mixed stain is beautiful and the level of professionalism was refreshing. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone wanting their floors refinished! I will definitely use them again!

we had our family room and staircase done in hardwood and the result is fantastic. Stan also brought his rail partner for the initial meeting and it was all positive from there. After getting a number of estimates, these guys were true professional. I had many bad experiences with contractors previously but this team made me forget about all of them with their knowledge, a pleasure to deal with.
