I have an old 1915 semi with 1 run of vertical venting covered in asbestos. Templar's over the phone quote (based on info i provided) was reasonable and in line with similar companies. They came the following week and the technician called ahead to confirm, he was thorough in his explanation of the process, cleaned up after himself and was exactly the amount he quoted me for. Overall happy. I will be calling them back to do the rest of my house down the road.

When I first spoke to Robert about having asbestos removed from the ceiling of my basement, I mentioned that I was first having someone remove the drywall from the ceiling and walls. Robert gave me very exact and detailed instructions for how to have it done safely, i.e. to not spread any asbestos dust that may be on top of the drywall ceiling. I appreciate the fact that he did not use scare tactics to try to up-sell his company’s services. Robert then had his crew come and remove all of the asbestos. They left my basement immaculately clean, and according to the follow-up lab test, asbestos-free. Robert was helpful, no-nonsense, and easy to deal with. I highly recommend Templar.

I needed to take down the ceiling in my basement to run electrical. When I opened up the ceiling I saw some strange insulation that worried me. I phoned Rob, and he came over promptly, took some samples, and sent them off to the lab. When the lab had some technical issues which delayed the analysis, Rob was really great about communicating with us and keeping us in the loop. Thankfully everything was negative, but I would not hesitate to call Rob again if needed.

When we tore down a wall, we found our ductwork covered in asbestos. After getting several quotes, we chose to work with Templar Mould / Asbestos. Robert was quick to quote the work and was able to get in and take them out sooner than we expected anyone would be able. He took great care in removing the asbestos, being careful not to 'disturb' it and took pieces of our plaster and insulation to send off to be tested (not included in removal - separate cost). My wife and I recently purchased a home in North York that was originally built in the early 1960s. We are doing some renovations and I had concerns about potential asbestos in the old plaster, wallboard/gypsum panels, and the attic insulation. I called Robert and within an hour he was at the house and having a thorough look around. He checked the duct work, furnace room, joists in the basement, the plaster walls, and the attic. Fortunately everything was clear. I was very impressed with the professionalism of this company. We had asbestos in our basement furnace room & crawl space. They were pleasant to deal with, very informative, came when they said they would & did a great job removing it in a difficult to reach area. I would definitely recommend them.
