During our 5-month reno, I never believed our house would free of the dust and grime. The Lux team came in and did a phenomenal job - fast, thorough, friendly and very effective. Every interaction with Allan and Greg was positive - from the initial quote to follow up after the clean. The team of cleaners was prompt, professional and positive despite the enormity of the dust! When I saw how beautiful our house looked after, I actually cried. The team had taken very good care of all of our posessions, paid attention to even the tiniest detail and our wood wainscotting, trim and floors have never looked better. I would absolutely recommend Lux for your post renovation clean!

The Spring Cleaning that Lux did for us was fantastic. Their team of four cleaners went through our house with cheerful professionalism and efficiency. There was nothing they wouldn't do, my fridge was cleaned thoroughly, my stove, glass, high dusting, tiles, shower doors, the list went on. My floors and furniture have never looked so lustrous! Because Lux provided four cleaners at once, an enormous amount of work got accomplished. Throughout the morning, the team manager checked and rechecked on each of the cleaners, reviewing both progression and thoroughness on each job. Each of the cleaners were friendly, efficient and happy to do any sort of task I requested. What a lift to have so much accomplished in such a short time! My 'Spring Cleaning' is finished! I have been using Lux's services for about three years now. I originally found the company by accident, back when I was using Homestars to investigate several others that people had recommended to me. I had some unfortunate experiences with the two prior cleaning companies I'd dealt with and so was looking for a one that was trustworthy, where the client came first, where they took cleaning seriously, and didn't mind if a client had a few "special requests" in terms of how things were to be done. I also wanted someone environmentally conscious and, ideally, a company that offered an every-three-weeks service. (Lux did offer that frequency when I started, but FYI, they discontinued it about a year ago.) I checked out Lux's own website and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of detail offered there on all topics. Based on what I read, I decided to call Al and get a quote. He arrived in a suit (you'll understand below why I commented on this), and we went over the house room by room, even item by item, in terms of what needed to be done - and the specifics we discussed were mostly Lux's, not mine, which confirmed to me that their concept of cleaning as shown on their website was more than just talk. :-) I ultimately decided to go with Lux and have not regretted it. They are definitely a premium-priced service, but you do get what you pay for here. Their staff is well-trained, pleasant, unobtrusive, and always on time. If there's going to be any discrepancy in their arrival/departure times, even something as little as ten minutes, Greg makes sure to alert you in advance. Of course, things have not always been perfect, but whenever there has been a problem, Al has responded promptly and tactfully. I remember one of the issues involving a residue left on the kitchen floor after one of the early cleanings. I called Al, and he showed up an hour or two later at my door, this time in a Lux T-shirt and jeans, with a pail and some cleaning equipment, and he got down on his hands and knees and re-cleaned the floor personally (and spotlessly, too!). Al, I was impressed! :-D To all of you who ask yourself "isn't there someone out there who knows how to clean my house the way I'd clean it myself?", I recommend you give Lux a try.

I was introduced to Al, the owner of LUX through a client whom we were doing a renovation for - of course, I called upon them to do the post construction clean up. I was blown away by the crews attention to detail and professionalism. The bonus was their use of ECO-Friendly products, which is so very important to many homeowners today. I called on LUX cleaning based on Homestars excellent reviews. They did not let me down. All the staff from Al and Greg in the office to on-site cleaning staff, including the broadloom and floor cleaning staff were pleasant, punctual and outstanding at their jobs. I will definitely use their company again and recommend them to others. Their prices are probably not the lowest around, but their work is excellent and well worth it. I was totally happy with the results.

I would recommend Lux for their professionalism and thoroughness to cleaning. I no longer use them since I now have a full time nanny who cleans the house, however if I ever need a cleaning service, they would be my go to team. They were the best cleaners I ever had.

Lux was recommended to me by a friend who purchased a full day 'spring clean'. From the moment I called Lux, I knew I was dealing with professionals. Allan came to my home so that he could meet me and assess the job. Bringing strangers into my home never sits well with me but from the moment I met Allan and each of his crew, I felt I could trust them in my home. I booked my first cleaning with Lux for a full day job with a 3 team crew. My house sparkled - the attention to detail in their cleaning process was remarkable. Since that first visit I call Lux whenever I need a regular cleaning. A two-team crew come in for 3 hours and give all three floors in my home a good make-over. I plan to have a full day cleaning done every Spring and will continue to call Lux for regular clean jobs when I need them. This has been money well spent for me.

I love LUX! Having 3 small boys (all under 5) and working full time doesn't leave a lot of time to clean the house - and really, not what I want to be doing on the weekends or at night. I have been using the services of LUX for almost 3 years now and I have to say that the day the team is scheduled to arrive is my FAVOURITE day of the week. They manage to get my kitchen sink shinier than I ever could, and pay attention to all the little details. The biggest selling feature for me initially was that they are environmentally safe and friendly! I recently also used them for a move-in clean and they did a great job of getting the grime off the cupboards and making the sinks and toilets sparkle. They are always on time and the team members have always been extremely friendly and polite.
