Waterloo based LID service, product, and knowledge were exceptional on all accounts. Each individual we conversed with had in-depth knowledge of all products and services carried and were very clear and concise providing explanations. They had no problem dropping by a number of times for follow up questions and they ended up being much more cost effective than other lighting solutions we looked into. Would highly recommend!!!

We had Brendan over to install our undercabinet lighting. First appointment to measure and after a few weeks he came back with the product to install. The installation took about an hour which was very impressive. The process was quick and painless. The outcome was pretty slick as he was able to hide the excess wires. Very happy with the product so far and the entire process. Thanks!

The finishing touch to our renovated kitchen was the undermount cabinet lighting. The led feature is fantastic, as it illuminates the prep area of our kitchen perfectly. Would highly recommend it.

We had lighting installed in a privacy wall leading to our courtyard, which is the entrance to our property. The service was excellent. There were a couple of adjustments we wanted done, and they were made promptly, professionally and pleasantly. The LED lighting makes our entrance and courtyard look very upscale and at the same time it is well lit and safe for our members. We are impressed with cost of running the LED lights; pennies per year.

Glad you are happy with your lights. I know it was quite a change for the members; who had been stuck with the high pressure sodium lights for quite a while.

We discovered LID at the Home Show in Toronto this fall and asked Brendan to provide us with a quotation for replacing all of our existing exterior lights and adding a few additional accent lights. Although busy and a long way from our West Hill home he responded promptly and provided us with a very pleasing selection of lights (floods, accents etc.) well laid out to make our exterior look pleasing without being gaudy. Although the installation took a bit longer than we had hoped (not Brendan’s fault at all) he and his crew were courteous and efficient. We are well satisfied with the result and it will be nice to know that we will pay for the installation we will recover in energy reduction within a few years so it is money well spent. We encourage anyone looking to beautify their exterior and reduce their energy costs to look into LED lighting solutions and Brendan Winarski and Lighting Inovation and Design Inc. are a very good place to start.

Thanks for the feedback Gervase. This was a complicated project which I admit had a lot more to it than I originally thought. As a result we had to make some changes here and there. Of course, because of this some of the materials took a little longer to arrive then others. We me Lighting Innovation and Design at the Hamilton Home Show and set up an appointment to update our outdoor lighting to LED lights - brighter, energy efficient, and nearly no cost to operate. Brendan helped design the lighting scheme, but was very open to our ideas and suggestions - improving on them. He had to think very creatively in order to make our old lighting designs work into the new scheme. Work was done efficiently, with little disturbance to existing landscaping. He worked when he said he would and we very please with the results.

In an effort to keep our communities safe it was recommended by the police that we leave our outside house lights on from dusk until dawn. However, with the high cost of hydro and the associated environmental concerns, this is not an option for most families. Contractor did as asked within budget. His work was excellent and much better than a previous contractor we had used to put in mood lighting. LI reinstalled and moved lights and added new ones. Workers were curteous and pleasant and they knew their stuff.
