Just a quick note to say thank you for the excellent service and work that was done on our roof. We had fast and efficient service done and the men that were here were very honest and reliable. Great craftsmanship and the work done resulted in big savings to us. We were originally looking at a new roof, however your people made some wonderful suggestions saving us money and time. A roof is a huge expense to a homeowner, and anytime that we find there's still some life left in a roof- we're able to quote on any repairs/maintenance to help prolong the life a bit longer rather then having to re-do it all at a costly expense.

Done Right handled this job very well, from the initial visit and quote, to installation, to inspection, to second inspection! The price quoted was exactly what we paid in the end. Their quote was similar to others, if not a bit less. The crew working on the roof included one or two new workers, but the head roofer was quite competent and the job was done well. We installed a Solatube 10" round "skylight" for an interior bathroom, and Done Right willingly cut a hole in the roof so that I could install it while they were working, and they incorporated it into the job, doing all the exterior flashing, etc. (Had it shipped by bus from www.LightCoSolar.com in Edmonton a couple of days before.) A day after everything was done and final inspection was completed, we were surprised by another visit from another inspector. He is hired by Done Right, but doesn't know who worked on the job. He carefully inspected everything to ensure that it was done correctly. Some aspects of the job could have been better, but it was done by humans who took pride in the quality of their work, and worked extra to ensure that we were happy with the result. I couldn't expect more from anyone! So, we are pleased with the work, and don't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Our roofs first get inspected by the Foreman, then the Project Manger then our Quality Control manager also does randomized inspections to ensure that nothing is missed. Done Right Roofing provided top-notch customer service, right from the moment I contacted the office to request a quote. Our quote was completed quickly and we were given a detailed, itemized quote, something we did not receive from other companies. The sales representative returned my calls quickly and no question seemed too silly to ask! We had heard horror stories of incorrect skylight installation and this was of upmost concern to us. Done Right has a skylight specialist who was incredibly knowledgeable and ensured our skylights were installed properly. In addition, our roofing project was a little more complicated than we anticipated because of our inner city location, with our house surrounded by hydro wires. The installers had to carry the roofing materials up a ladder since they could not be dropped on the roof via crane. The installers arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the job within the estimated time. They were very respectful of our home and yard and took great care to clean up after the project was finished. Furthermore, the administration staff at Done Right were courteous and professional. Any time we had a phone conversation, the staff would promptly send an email afterwards so there was a written record of items discussed. Office staff kept up abreast of drop off dates of materials, accomodated our need to reschedule the project and ensured our customer satisfaction. I have nothing but great things to say about this company! Renovations can be stressful but Done Right made this renovation project stress-free. I wish more home renovation companies provided their level of expertise and customer service.

We recently had our old shingles replaced with new Malarkey Legacy Shingles. We are so very pleased with the service that we received from Darcy when he came out for the estimate - all of our questions and concerns were answered. Darcy provided us with the information on a couple of products that we were interested in and the decision was made. Install date was set. The girls in the office took our concerns into consideration when arranging for the shingle and disposal bin delivery.. Mike and the crew showed up when promised and 3 days later the job was done. Job site was cleaned up and you would never know that they were there. I really have nothing bad to say about Done right roofing I had exceptional service. When I initially had them come over for the Estimate Darcy answered all of my questions in detail making me feel 100% confident in going with Done right roofing for my home. I must add that i had lost my initial estimate and Darcy had sent me a new one through email right away and i thought that was great. As for cleanup after the job they tidied up the yard of roofing nails and other materials from the old roof i barely even knew they had been there. Every question i emailed Amanda at the office about she would respond promptly. I The only thing I would suggest is if the crew has to leave due to weather to try and inform the client as to when they will return simply because I didn't know what hours they are scheduled to work. I would highly recommend Done Right Roofing. From the moment that I requested an appraisal to the final product. They were on time and very detailed with reviewing the condition of the roof and very professional. I am a big fan of electronic information and the email coorespondance was top notch along with the phone calls to arrange. Installation was great - even with part of my roof with skylights that was unfortunately moldy and rotted, Done Right showed me the physical issues and they were able to rebuild the roof and make it better than how the house was built and causing the same problem in a few years. Even with the unexpected cost due to rot, I was more than happy with Done Rights approach and ability to address the issue quickly and efficiently with quality work. June was a rainy month and had no more leaky roof issues! Being a part time realtor, I will recommend Done Right everytime for my clients.

We found Done Right Roofing to be very responsive at first. The salesman was very prompt in giving us a free estimate and some very good roofing advice. The product was installed one day without us being advised, which was OK, except that there were a couple of concerns: (1) the inside of the black gutters were bright white which looks very silly and we were never told that this would be what was installed and (2) the installers left some areas that were not weather-proofed. When we tried to contact the comany to voice our concerns, they would not return our calls. We left 3 messages with the office and the salesman with no results. We finally had to talk to the office manager because they were insisting that we pay them. The end result was that they said they couldn't change our install; we did pay them the full amount (they gave us no discount) but we told them we would not be able to ever use them again or recommend them.

First of all, we would like to once again offer our sincerest apologies for the mishaps which had occurred during your installation. As we had discussed in January, unfortunately eaves are only available in custom colors for the outside of the trough, which is generally the most visible. The insides only come in either white or galvanized metal from the suppliers. Sadly, when you had brought this to my attention it was the very first issue we ever had about a homeowner not liking the inside color of eaves. We now know to bring this up with potential clients from the start of the sale and it won’t happen again. Had we be given the chance to fix the area that was not weather proofed, we would have absolutely done so. When it was brought to my attention, you had mentioned it was already taken care of by yourself. Although our records show we had been in communication with yourself, it seems obvious to me that you feel it wasn’t enough. If a client feel’s there’s no communication, it’s clear that we weren’t doing our job right by keeping the client informed at all stages of the job. This is something we’re always striving to improve on, as communication is key when working in this industry. This is an error on our part and I offer my sincerest apologies for it.
