Paul is a person in high demand. He framed my basement so I knew he did exceptional work. I wanted a fence built and waited 6 months for him to finally free himself from his busy schedule. It was worth the wait. He did the job on time and he did everything I requested. I normally would have taken time off work to supervise the job but I knew the job would be done well and done right. My wife was also very impressed with the quality of the workmanship

PTR Carpentry is lead by Paul Richardson and his team. Ponctual, professional and fair pricing is what you can expect when you choose Paul and his team. PTR Carpentry was the last quote out of 4 ... He became the first choice for his knowledge, professionalism and personality. I remember questioning my husband about choosing an important trade with a gut feeling.? because that was our reaction. Paul gave us 4 references which were all followed up by myself. I even visited a previous job site to see the work from PTR Capentry . PTR Carpentry was hired to reframe this close to 3ooo feet home from top to bottom. Demo was even added as a change order and the price was fair! Paul's knowledge of the industry rules is priceless....small details makes a BIG difference. for example our drywaller team is on site and they even commented on the shimming that was done to make a wall flush for drywall....Just that observation is a clue to the drywaller that this framing team is excellent. Paul and his team take pride in how they do their work for YOU! He builds it like it's his home!!

This is the second time we've worked with Paul and we couldn't be happier! We had Paul and his team remove our old basement stairs and rebuild and reinstall a wider staircase. Like our previous experience, we found Paul to be reliable, extremely knowledgable and proficient. His team was organized and respectful and left our house cleaner than when they arrived! As a homeowner in the middle of a renovation, it was such a relief to have a contractor like Paul come in... no worries and a job well done! Thanks Paul and crew!

Paul and his team came by recently to reinforce and fix a number of supporting beams in our kitchen ceiling for a renovation we're doing. We couldn't have been happier with the quote, and timeline of the job. Paul's crew showed up on time and immediately got to work. They had the entire job finished within a day, exactly as quoted. They were very professional and it was obvious that they had alot of knowledge in this area of structural reinforcement. I would definitely recommend them!

Paul Richardson did a great job framing our basement. I originally spoke with Paul 6+ months ago and for personal reasons never started the project. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I called Paul who proceeded to provide the exact same estimate. Paul had the lumber delivered on the first day of the project and as per his original timeline finished the job on the second day. Paul had lots of great tips and suggestions throughout the project and happily took the time to explain pros and cons for each approach. It was a pleasure to work with Paul and his colleague. Paul came in on time, on budget, cleaned up after himself and set the bar extremely high for how a contractor should conduct himself. Many thanks to Paul and his partner!

I've been trying to find the words to describe the WONDERFUL job Paul did in framing our basement. Paul is a skilled, honest, punctual, respectful craftsman. I had to change the scheduled time for framing with Paul twice due to delay in windows installation and Paul generously accomodated me in his busy schedule. In 2 days of non-stop 8-9 hours/day Paul delivered an AMAZING basement with whatever I asked for. When he had to box a weired area close to a window he did it in a genius way so not to block the window light. I am also extremely impressed with Jason'The Crew', how quick he was in measuring perfectly, cutting, preparing and delivering so Paul can come up with the BEAUTIFUL final product. What a team!! the A++ team. It was wonderful dealing with Paul. I guess PTR stands for: Proffessional Talented Respectful carpentry! Thank you Paul, thanks Jason.

MIRACULOUS results, MARVELOUS ethics, EXCEPTIONAL demeanor, No-FROWN accommodation to changes …… and the list goes on and on. I waited for three days to write this review in hope of finding the right words to describe the most memorable and enjoyable skilled trade experience of my life, but no words could ever do justice to this craftsmanship. I am a perfectionist and very few have been able to meet my standards. Paul is on the top of the list and will be remembered forever. I wish he would take up every other trade that I need for my home renovation. 2 days of non stop professional assembly and finesse work of 10 hours or more. 3 extra trips to the lumber store to accommodate my changes to frame a 1600 square foot basement. And he did not even ask for additional money. You do not get that anywhere. If you are even remotely considering some framing work or anything else that Paul can do, I urge you to get it done without further adieu, in case he moves or retires!!!! WOW … what a beautiful and exhilarating experience on all fronts from a professional and a first-class human being.

Paul Richardson of PTR and his worker Jason did an amazing job in removing a Load Bearing wall in my home. I interviewed several carpenters and skilled tradesman before finding Paul of PTR on Homestars.com, everyone I interviewed prior to meeting Paul was either trying to leave in 2 Posts in place of my existing load bearing wall or I was told by almost anyone else that I had to leave at least 1 post to support the load of the upper level in my home... I had no desire to have a pillar/post remain in the area of the load bearing wall as the goal was to create an open concept space. When Paul came out to inspect the job at hand I was simply amazed by his instant confidence and approach to the job being presented to him. As it has been stated by many others, Paul has a very high level of professionalism, knowledge and expertise and most importantly experience!! Paul was the only person to come out to my home and look at task at hand, ensured that myself and my wife as the homeowners were taking the necessary steps to support the job I wanted done (obtaining Structural Engineer drawings, Return air re-location, water lines re-located etc..) Paul was able to work with the drawings my structural engineer drafted up and turn that dream my wife and I had of removing the eyesore load bearing wall in our home become a reality! From the start of the project to the finish of the project Paul and his worker Jason were completely professional, always on time, and very courteous and friendly throughout the entire time they were in my home. Very fast and efficient does not justify just how fast these guys from PTR work! Paul had originally quoted the job to take 3-4 Days...... by 11am on Day 2 my Load bearing wall was non existent! And if that wasn't amazing as it already was.... well before the end of day 2 my house was completely clean and tidy from any mess created during the wall removal as Paul and Jason had completely completed the removal and addition of a new support structure of my now non-existent load bearing wall! The guys were even kind enough to frame around the newly re-routed Air Return ducts in my dining room that needed to be re-routed as they were originally run through the load bearing wall to the upper level of our home. Paul did this for my wife and I with no extra charge on top of the amazing price and job he and Jason had just completed for us! I am very confident in the Load bearing wall removal and framing that Paul and Jason of PTR did in my home. My wife and I are extremely excited to see the end results after the drywall is finished being put up etc.. I will definitely be sharing the end results with Paul and crew from PTR. Paul takes pride in the work that he does and the quality of PTR's workmanship definitely shows. His pricing is unbeatable for the quality of work Paul and crew at PTR delivers! My wife and I will definitely be a returning customers for PTR, and I will only be recommending Paul and crew from PTR to friends and family for any applicable future projects! Thanks again Paul and Jason for all of your hard work! Travis & Natasha
