We wanted to take the time to say how much we appreciated all the hard work that Paul and his team (Kyle & Marcin) put into our project. It was a two storey 1000 sq ft new addition with a hand cut roof to blend into an existing roofline. He was highly recommended from another trade. He was on budget, punctual and completed the project on time as estimated. (Even though we requested a few changes) True professionals, confident, respectful, well mannered and trustworthy. The job site was always left tidy. He is proactive and the excellent liaison with other trades was very helpful. We look forward to hiring Paul to work on any of our future projects. Found Paul on Homestars read many reviews and oddly enough Paul Lives near me. I had an urgent need to have a very bad floor joist corrected as we were having new granite countertops installed right over were the problem area was and Paul was there before the week was over. While he was here I had him fix another one that could have been a big problem down the road. He made sure that they were very secure. He was quick and thorough. We were very impressed with the work performed by PTR Carpentry. Paul is obviously very detailed oriented and focused on the quality of his work. He also showed up on time and was very accomodating to changes in schedule when his work was delayed. Paul's attention to detail is second to none. I just had a drywaller in for a quote and even they were surprised by the quality of his work. Paul is open to changes during work. I asked him to add a closet in a hallway and he did so without issue and consulted me on all the requirements of the change. He arrived on time to the minute on both days he worked at our house and removed all waste after the work was completed.

PTR Carpentry, Paul Richardson is the ultimate professional. Not only is he a master at his craft but an extremely friendly, polite, trustworthy trades-person. Our job was to completely frame a 1200 sqf basement. I contacted Paul because of the reviews I had read on HomeStars. He contacted me right away. We set up an appointment. Paul showed up to the appointment on time ready to answer all my questions. We booked a date 6 weeks away for him to complete the job. The day the job was to start the wood arrived, Paul and his assistant Martin arrived exactly when they said they would. The job was completed by 3:30 the next day. Perfect in every way. During the process I had to make a couple of small changes. Paul made adjustments to the original plans without hesitation. The project came in at the exact quote Paul had given me. When I came home from work the second day my basement was spotless. If you need any framing done, of any kind, don't hire anyone else but Paul (PTR Carpentry). Paul is the best.
