After contacting several contractors, many of whom did not return my call or even follow up with a promised quote, I decided to hire The Moore Brothers. Kevin was so helpfull over the phone, and then came over to provide a more accurate quote. He was very detailed and thorough. Even though my job was a small one, he still gave me the same amount of attention and respect as though it was a $20,000 project. The job was finished in a very reasonable amount of time and Kevin made every effort to ensure that each step of the way the job was done properly and efficiently. Kevin is fantastic and I cant say enough great things about him. My husband and I love the bathroom and could not be happier. Great job to you and your team Kevin, you guys are an amazing bunch and you will be my go-to guy for all future projects.

When it came time to do various fix-ups and renovations around our house, a co-worker of mine recommended Kevin Moore and The Moore Brothers to me. I suspect that we were probably one of those annoying clients who comes with a whole laundry list of little jobs to do, rather than one big project, but Kevin and his crew took it all in stride and were great. We needed to have drywall replaced and repaired, the pillars on our front porch repaired and re-parged, basement carpet removed and the floor re-painted, rooms re-painted, and various other odd jobs done. Kevin broke it all down for me and gave me a very reasonable quote. He and his crew did all the work quickly and efficiently. Kevin's a very easy-going and nice guy, so it made it a very pleasant experience to work with him. He offered a lot of good suggestions, and was good about responding to any questions or concerns I had about the work. Kevin also "saved my bacon" recently, when our hot water tank sprung a leak a week before we were going to put our house up for sale. Unfortunately for us, replacing the tank necessitated cutting out a big chunk of basement wall (since a previous owner had decided to "build in" the furnace and hot water heater). I called Kevin up and asked him if there was any way he could - within the next few days - fix up our basement wall and install new doors for easy access to the furnace and hot water system. Once again, Kevin came through for us and got everything fixed up and re-painted so that we could get our house on the market as planned. Our real-estate agents were very pleased with all the work that The Moore Brothers had done, and we successfully sold our house in one week! There's no doubt in my mind that Kevin and his crew were instrumental in helping us achieve this sale. I would definitely recommend Kevin Moore and the Moore Brothers for any job... big or small!

These guys are great! We hired the Moore brothers after contacting a couple companies from homestars, and getting estimates for our painting job. The Moore brothers were the most reasonable of the three, and also gave the best breakdown of the work, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Kevin was very easy to deal with, and prompt in replying to any questions we had. The finished job is fantastic...they were quick with the work, but very thorough, doing an extra coat of paint on areas that needed it, even though it wasn't in the original estimate. We will definitely be using them in the future when we paint the upstairs, and would absolutely recommend them!

If it were possible to give a company 11 out of 10 stars, that would be the rating we'd give The Moore Brothers. Kevin, our contact, was a dream to work with! We needed my late Mother's condominium painted quickly for an open house – Kevin and the gang somehow managed it all very last minute and did an absolutely beautiful job. They understood what we wanted, were reasonable in price and left the place neat and tidy. Everything went without a snag, even though we weren't on the premises to oversee things. They will be the only painters we use in the future and will get our highest recommendation to family and friends. Well done Moore Brothers!

I hired The Moore Brothers for door casing and baseboard installation, painting, and ceiling repair. During the project scoping, Kevin guaranteed that the job would be completed to the highest standard possible. During the project I was pleased to find that The Moore Brothers are truly a family run business. At all times there was at least one brother in the house ensuring that the work met their quality standards. The brothers and team are a friendly, helpful, and trustworthy bunch of guys who want the best for your home. Kevin fulfilled his promise and gave us amazing results. These guys are professionals and I plan to hire them again for future renovations.

Our walls were quite a mess and Kevin and his Brothers were an excellent find for us. Our home is now like the “Before and After” for a Home Reno show. It is transformed and looks so new and bright. These guys will always be our first choice. You should hire them without reservation. Even given all the usual reno pains and issues, my wife and I do dearly miss them. The work they did was superb and they were even great company to have around. That is my short review, but there is so much more, please read on. The first meeting with Kevin was great. He was personable, very likeable and struck us as straightforward and honest. Normally we would be on-guard for someone that seemed too nice (you never know if the work matches the personality) but we are glad we went with him and his brothers. Our walls had wallpaper all over and on removal, it left a mess of glue and paint on the walls (pictures to be uploaded soon) with some cracks that were hidden as well. Most of the contractors we brought in balked at the task. Kevin did note to us the scale of the task but took it in stride. We only wanted painting and plastering done at first. We asked Kevin how well the end result would look considering our old worn baseboards. Kevin detailed various options for us at various price points. He also clearly explained what level of finish to expect with each budget choice and how it would work if we wanted to break it down into separate projects. It was a lot of info but we were very happy with his explanations and descriptions. Kevin gave us a well written detailed quote with a cost breakdown. In the end we wanted the best look and we replaced all the trim and baseboards as Kevin suggested. We were not disappointed and the house looks amazing and bright now. During the whole process we consulted with Kevin on everything from quality paints, colours, the plaster finish, wood and suppliers for the trim. He is an excellent source of advice and we pretty much went with all of his suggestions. At the same time, we decided to also have our floors refinished and we had already chosen a floor contractor. Kevin was EXTREMELY accommodating with the floor contractors’ requests for protection and cure times. I also wanted to put down some vinyl flooring in another area and Kevin gave me a quote if I wanted his team to do it. I decided to handle it myself though. Kevin was still helpful and willingly gave advice and a hand or two. Please READ THIS PART. One of the best parts of choosing ”The Moore Bros” are the brothers but the other good part are the sub contractors they work with. Kevin uses other contractors that he trusts and they always have good things to say about him and are quite loyal to him. His Plastering guy is PHENOMENAL. Kevin also organized people to do an archway, crown molding and move some electrical outlets. He took care of the details. The costs were upfront and reasonable. Their work was well up to the same standard as Kevins and I would definitely use them in the future as needed. As with most big projects, things change, problems happen, additions are made etc. We ran into all these issues as well. We all kept track of all that was asked for or changed and there were many emails with lots of details. In the end, we did have some disagreement over some costs but with some discussion; Kevin did work things out to keep us happy. In the end of it all, the Moore Brothers (and the people they sub-contract) are all “good guys”. You can definitely trust them to do the right thing. From the small to higher end budgets, Kevin can help you find a beautiful end result to your project. Just give him a chance (with your budget constraints in mind though). His advice and suggestions were very helpful and the people he works with are excellent as well. We hope to see them again someday and will definitely hire them again. Also if a certain famous TV show is still considering having them on, I’ll gladly vouch for them.

In the summer 2012 after seeing the reviews on Homestars, I hired Moore Brothers to paint the exterior of my bungalow in Etobicoke right before putting it on the market. They did a great job and were able to come in quickly before I was listing the house. I most recently (Dec 2012) had them come into one of my investment properties after the tenants left it in a state of complete filthiness, to paint some of the rooms, floors and staircases. Moore brothers once again were great to work with in terms of scheduling, quality, and flexibility with the scope of work to make it fit my budget. Even when there was a misunderstanding about the scope, we were able to resolve it in a way that was completely satisfactory. Kevin, Kirk and Kelly were all very good to deal with and take a lot of pride in their work and obtaining customer satisfaction.

We had a living room that was in dire need of some plaster and painting. Kevin accommodated our schedule as I had some time off before the start of a new job. Kevin was very diligent and paid attention to detail during the prep time, sealing the area well enough that we experienced minimal plaster dust outside the work area. Kevin and his team did a great job not only during the time they worked, but also in cleaning up the area once they were done. He came back to do some touch up work when I called. His professionalism was top notch and he was very pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use him again as I am very pleased with the job that he and his team did for us. And they really are brothers. Each one of them is as pleasant and diligent as the next.

Moore Brothers was fantastic! We had a significant plaster and paint job that had to be done in a short period of time. Working with Kevin was very easy. He made a commitment to complete the job on time and the team delivered. In fact, they overdelivered based on three reasons. First, we (the owners) asked to reduce the plan by one day to accomodate our moving company. The plan was adjusted to meet our needs. Second, we changed the scope to add a room and Moore Brothers completed this at the same time as the rest of the project. Third, late in the project, there were unexpected repairs to correct work someone else had done previously. They assessed the situation, modified the plan and still delivered on time. And did I mention the job looks fantastic! The first time I saw the new plaster even before the paint was applied there was a definite wow factor. Great quality, on time, flexible, easy to work with, trustworthy and everyone on the team was friendly. Would recommend Moore Brothers any time.

They are very quick and efficient. They arrived at 8:45am and were done by 5pm. I was in the house and came down shortly after they had started to show them a few touch-ups I wanted done. When I went to show them, I discovered that they were already done. They created little-to-no dust and cleaned up after as if they hadn't been there. Overall, very good job. Thanks.
