I now have a beautiful new kitchen. I couldn't ask for more. Jason was professional, reliable, on time and budget. He was thoughtful and meticulous. Jason wanted to know every detail about how i was going to be using my kitchen on a day-to-day basis. He was just as concerned about practicality as he was about having it look great. I'm thinking more and more about updating the rest of my home, I look forward to having Chapados design again!

I have asked Jason from Chapados Design to bring my office up to speed and into the 21st century. My office was stuck in the 1980's when I moved into it and it needed an upgrade, especially with my increased responsibilities in the hospital. After the renovation multiple visitors commented on the great look of the new office. Jason was extremely professional. The final result was outstanding and any minor deficiencies were resolved promptly. I received great service from Chapados Design and had recommended the firm to several of my colleagues in the hospital who went on to hire the firm.

Hired Jason Chapados as our designer and to handle entire project. Use all his contractors. Hardwood flooring slopes from middle outwards. Jason refused to fix it, said it was due to a beam in the middle after the fact. Had email Jason to made sure any slope is fixed beforehand, no response. Had to tear up the floor, found that layers of plywood had caused the hump, not a support beam. Also, use his electrician, subsequently told by Jason that it is the first time that he has used this electrician after he put an electric pipe running outside the wall in the living room. After tearing up floor, foudn his electrician put live wire between underfloor and hardwood. See pics, electrician also put wire below basement ceiling. Work stopped the next day when I refused to pay for their mistake, ie. pay for hardwood floor and labor again. I had already paid an extra $1,500 to redo the drywall that his contractor put up because according to Jason it was not straight. Two holes were left uncovered throughout the winter.
