Wow! Fantastic service from the first call to time the plumber completed the installation. Our previous plumber would not return our call, so we decided to try Anta since they were listed on the "Best of '12" list on homestars. The office person I spoke to (Ann) was very pleasant and professional and assured me that a plumber would come to our home at our specified date and time (basically the next day as we requested). The plumber, Rulin, arrived on time, was professional, and tackled the job most efficiently. He did a great job! Even explained what to do with all the little spare parts that came with our new faucet. We would not hesitate to contact Anta and have Rulin help us with plumbing services again.

Anta plumbing was fantastic. They were easy to contact and were not rude like some other companies I had called. They sent over a plumber named Jeff and he was remarkable! He listened to all of our needs and did exactly what we asked for. The job took several more hours than he had anticipated, but he patiently finished the job and did not over charge us. Amazing service from the first call! We bought a house where the previous owner cut all kinds of corners, one being failure to insulate our extension, which has a powder room and our laundry. AnTa checked our pipes for a clog before identifying that they were frozen. They needed to be fixed and re-routed above-ground to ensure that it wouldn't happen again. Friendly, prompt and quality service from everyone we dealt with. We will absolutely call them again and recommend them highly.

I received services from Anta Plumbing Inc back in 2009 and recently in Feb 2013 at my different properties. Let me share with you my experience and observation in both events. Back in 2009 It was a big project involving digging up my basement, removing bundle of roots got into my clay pipe, and installing new pipe. Anta's crews handled the job very professionally, timely and neatly. The fee was reasonable compared with quotes from other plumbers. They have good follow-up with the job done and even guided me to get most of the cost reimbursed by City of Toronto as the problem originated from city's trees. I was to write this review then but didn't get the time. I was very satisfied. My recent plumbing problem in Feb 2013 was kitchen drain clogged and I wasn't hesitant calling Anta and didn't bother getting second quote because I believe in Anta's service quality and their ethical business practice. These clearly showed in my previous encounter with Anta Plumbing in 2009. There was only one technician came to site, his name is Cecil. He was punctual, very accommodating with appointment time. This problem wasn't typical. The snake didn't do the job because of the nature of the blockage, size and sharp turns of pipe. Hydro Jet will be much messy and add to cost. However Cecil came up with a unique solution and cleared the pipe, which was blocked entire length with grease and food debris. There was no mess, after clean-up was minimal. To sum up I am very satisfied with Anta plumbing services. I give you A+ grade for your work quality, timeline, punctuality, work-site cleanliness, followup, price competitiveness and work ethic. I am immensely impressed with AnTa Plumbing. I recently had a roof repair in which I was advised to obtain plumber services to snake both (flat roof) drains. I looked on Homestars to find companies, and spoke at length with Tanya. She first guided me that snaking was not appropriate under these circumstances. (I don't fault the roofing guy. It's not his expertise.) But I do like that she didn't just "go with what I requested." She then guided me to the internet to an excellent remedy I could get done with a skilled handyman at a fraction of the cost (diverting external eavestrough into lawn area). Because my apartment complex didn't have eavestroughs, she then advised me to hydro jet the drains (force flood with water to clear debris). She provided a quote. They came immediately to my property to confirm solution. I gave the go-ahead and the work was completed the same day for exactly the quoted figure. Ironically, at the same time they began working at my apartment, a house that I rent out around the corner from the apartment, called me saying their basement had water coming in from the entire front of the house. So I asked AnTa to come there to advise me. Within 24 hours AnTa had water proofed the inside front wall of the house. They used heavy plastic to protect the rest of the basement from dirt caused by drilling up basement and digging up dirt. They also did a great clean up and carted away all immensely heavy bags of concrete and gravel debris. And they honoured their quote even after they had to extend repair to a second basement wall. They had me stuck, yet they didn't increase the quote. And a thorough clean up as well of a big mess. I am most impressed by their thorough job and express service!

Having lived in our new home for a couple of hours, we were met with a burst pipe and small flood in our basement. We googled a plumber and Jamey came to our rescue. Not only was he here quickly but he was very friendly and explained every step that he was doing. He took the time to explain and fix the problem, he also offered less costly suggestions on how to prevent future problems from occurring. In retrospect I have heard that he might be slightly on the more expensive side but at the time, he was extremely helpful, quick, friendly, and put our minds at ease.

I needed a new kitchen drain installed after I had a new kitchen put in. I called a couple plumbers who kept cancelling on me, until finally I called AnTa plumbing. Jeff arrived exactly at the time of our appointment, and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He quoted me $100 less than competitors, and completed the job right away. Plumbers can stay longer on previous calls because additional jobs occurred, because another owner was not able to get home on time to get plumber confirmation to go to the next call, a lot of circumstances can break day schedule. We try to keep our appointments even in a snowstorm or rainy weather conditions. Anta Plumbing is plumbing with care!

Steven Martel is awesome! He explained everything so I understood what was happening with my pipes (evil tree roots!). A new process was used so our lawn/driveway didn’t need to be dug up; which was a huge lifesaver and now we will never have to deal with the aforementioned evil tree roots. Our old clay pipes were retrofitted internally with resin that created a complete barrier the roots cannot grow into. Basically, they created a new pipe within the old one. The whole process took like a day to complete and they came on the weekend (which was perfect!). This is the best company to work with; I should also comment on the very sweet office people as well. They called me to tell me what was going on and when to expect the plumbers. It was very helpful to have that reassurance (especially when you’re stressed with a plumbing issue). Over all I love everyone who helped us over this weekend! Thank you so much!!! I am passing your card to my neighbour who is having a similar issue.

Anta Plumbing tries every day to find solution as better as possible to keep houses with less damage when we replace sewer pipe. We have brand new equipment to install liner (lining the sewer pipes with special felt, and build new system inside the existing one with no excavation. It helps a lot! We stop cutting floors; excavate trenches, destroy sidewalks, gardens, carpets. Now we are working on next generation of torpedo to make tunnels underground for different purposes to install new cables, install new pipes. When customer ask us why drain services are so complicated we know what to say - not for Anta Plumbing! We work every day not only as service providers, but as new technology installers. Thank you for your trust and we are really appreciated every word you leave here.

Our main drain in the furnace room was backed up and we had several service calls for snaking the drain, but it only temporarily solved the problem. Then we called Anta and had our drain hydroflushed of all the grease and buildup with a camera and it cleansed the drains completely. Now it is clear and running smooth with no backups.

Thank you, Mr. Lee for your commences at this page. Blocked pipe is really not simple solving. We have to find the reason first to assist properly; most of plumbers will just snake and go! (Don't forget, they will be back, because nobody checked with camera the condition of the pipe after the snaking) Problem with pipes connected to the kitchen drain is grease! Snaking is just a vibration with rotation, grease is like butter - as more you rotate the mixer as more "puffy" it will be. That is why is so important to know what king of pipe is blocked, what king of plumbing fixtures are located on that pipe, maybe garbage carburetor? Maybe grease trap? Maybe dishwasher in a restaurant? Investigation takes time but save money for the client. Anta Plumbing is company with extremely professional technicians, we save time and money by doing properly from the first time. Don’t forget - plumber has to check his work after he is done, the same as everybody. Camera inspection is great tools to check the condition of the pipe to make sure pipe is out of grease and ready to service you.

AnTa was very friendly when first I placed the call, promised a free estimate by their technician, and had the guy at my house on the same day. The plumber, Jeff, was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He provided a very competitive estimate and gave me options on how to have the water filtration system installed (including his recommendation). The great part was that his recommendation wasn't necessarily the most expensive option. The two jobs took several hours to do and through the entire process, Jeff made sure I was informed of the status. He also tested the fixed leak several times and made sure I was entirely satisfied. Jeff was a pleasure to deal with and if he's a reflection of the staff at AnTa, then I'll definitely be dealing with this company again for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Robin! We try to be helpful from the first moment, even trying to help is it is possible over the phone, we prefer to give customer a choice to make when it comes to costly repairs. Plumbing is expensive market because of materials (copper), because of licensed technicians not handyman service. BUT! We try to be as much as possible reasonable to make repairs fit to the budget, sometimes we as a company ready to cut profits just to fix the problem in a drain system, because it is very dangerous to have leaks, it can became as a flood one day.
