We prepared a detailed drawing for a deck and interviewed 5 contractors to provide estimates on the project. Jeff from JSL promptly attended to view the site. We found Jeff to be exceptionally thorough and knowledgeable. He made excellent suggestions, provided logical alternatives and gave a competitive quotation shortly after the visit. He and his crew arrived on time, ordered quality materials and constructed the deck to code. During construction we had a number of site consults to discuss progress of the job. In fact, some pieces of cedar were returned when he was not happy with their quality. Jeff and the JSL crew are professionals - they were respectful of the property - leaving it clean at the end of each day. They were all eager to answer any question and offered a thorough response. The deck was built on time and we are thrilled with the results. We have no hesitation in recommending JSL. Jeff and his crew displayed attention to detail, were a pleasure to deal with and certainly are worthy of an '11' out of 10.

JSL Carpentry and Renovations completed the main renovation but then failed to return for the final work and clean-up. Further calls to them were left unanswered, as they already had received the bulk of their funds. Message to potential homeowners----do not use this company as they are unreliable.
