It's been over 2 years and some of my reviews are pending still. No-one has contacted me to discuss them or provided a reason for then not being published. I have evidently wasted my time writing this review only for Homestars to kibosh my effort for no given reason. If it takes over 2 years for nothing to happen with a bad review, but a good review will go through without hesitation. Perhaps the bad review was directed at a company that PAYS Homestars for advertising. I think I will use proper mediation like the BBB for future use. They cannot be bought like Homestars apparently is.

I first became aware of Homestars when I started to get enquries from clients who had read my reviews on this site and I was not even aware they existed. When I investigated further I soon realized it was an extremely great site for homeowners to access to review potential contractors for any sort of home improvement. The company makes every effort to ensure that any and all testimonials are credible which was important to me. They also offered advertising and very affordable rates and I signed up. Since then I have had numerous enquiries about my services that have led to acccepted contracts.. Since my account was transferred to Sean everything is great. He is always available to answer any questions and makes dealing with this company a pleasure. Thank you Homestars.

Home stars is nothing but a trouble site, does not have proof of reviews, just allows customers who have nothing better to do than trash talk a company. Do you really think that people go to this site to say how great a company is?????????? When is the last time you took the time to give good feedback. All the good feedback is just from family and friends.

I was told that I would receive 2 free tickets to the Homeshow if I wrote 2 reviews; so I did. I never got those tickets. I am very displeased with this. Thanks, Jon.

We have been with HomeStars Company since 2011, We are very happy that we joined them. Not only we saved on advertising, but also we got great reviews and customer feedbacks since HomeStars make it more easier and accesible to customers to get involve by reading and writting reviews about a company.Homestars teams are indeed very nice team of people to deal and work with. We appreciate Homestars team- hard work, ongoing support, mostly Sarah Steels that She is always there to help and support our companyr last 2 years . We are so glad to be part of the HomeStars team. As were looking for different advertising methods, at the very least we would inquire package information from Homestars.com. Jess Sugar, as the account manager: always a pleasure to deal with since day one. Jess is very knowledgeable, friendly and always there to help. I was asked to write a review for a Hamilton company. I couldn't from work because our servers are in Chatham, but the website won't let the reviewer change it independent of the IP! The censor function of the text bubble won't let someone describe the act of being left on the ground! L y I n g there. As in the was none of the insulation censored around! When it says I paid for this I paid in time I won't get back from dealing with the censored interface.

After hearing about HomeStars from my sister who lives in Toronto, I was quickly excited about this site and everything it has to offer. As an avid user of Trip Advisor, the platform is similar only I feel HomeStars does a much better job of screening reviews and providing information. We have been so happy working with the HomeStars team the past year. Everyone has been very helpful and professional and we have had no problems with the review system. We are excited to see HomeStars growing in popularity in Calgary as there is nothing else like it and it's so beneficial for homeowners to have a place to share their experiences. This site has helped us with our credibility to potential customers and we hope people in Calgary share more and more reviews of all the home services they receive. Keep up the great work guys!
