I am very impressed with my new floors and Robert and Darek's workmanship. Their installation was perfect. I cannot detect any flaws, and were especially flawless in the small corners in the closets. They even levelled the transition area between the bedrooms and hallway, making it seamless - an add-on that was more than expected. I'm also happy that they went out of their way to deliver the wood ahead of time to allow for acclimatization, perfect. I will most definitely recommend them to friends and family

This team is extraordinary. Robert and Derek were the more professional people that I have ever worked with and I have had a lot of contact with trades, skilled labourers and business people. Robert and Derek are all of these things. My initial contact was with Patricia who was extremely helpful in coordinating my contact with Robert at every stage of the process. She is wonderful and a pleasure to work with. I didn't think the service could get any better until the guys arrived to discuss the job and to start the work. I went out in the morning and came back at noon and found that my office and family room had been transformed in a few short hours. Then in another half a day my living room, dining room and front hall turned into the show piece I had always envisioned. The greatest transformation was our master bedroom and upper hallway, each possessing the most challengin angles imaginable but the guys were magicians and made it seem effortless. My home has been transformed and its value increased. The pictures don't do the work justice. I recommend them highly and will be changing the remaining bedrooms to hardwood in the new year with this team. I hope they can squeeze me in. We found Floorwood through online referrals. Hardwood floors (325 sq. feet) - living and dinning area - 5 yr old house. Upon initial contact, we told them what we wanted, concerns, budget and sent in a few pics of the carpeted rooms etc...and they came up with just the right plan that fit our budget. Needless to say, we decided to go with floorwood and results are just awesome. We are very happy with the work Rob and Darek did and the overall experience experience. They came in by 7:30 a.m and the job was done before 4 pm!!! Rob and Darek did a great job. We highly recommend them and would surely call them again.

After a complete home renovation we needed the 3" hardwood flooring we purchased installed. I came across Floorwood from the forums at Redflag Deals. After speaking to Robert over the phone, he invited me to a home they were working on near my area. I thought it was a great opportunity to see the kind of work they do. When I approached the neighborhood they were working in I realized that they were working in an estate subdivision, I'm sure each house was worth over $1 Million. Upon my inspection I was more than impressed by their quality of work and was confident that they could transform my home. Robert also dropped by my home 2 weeks prior to the install to understand the job at hand. He was impressed that we used 3/4" plywood as our subfloor and was positive that it would look fantastic. Robert and Derek were very fair on installation pricing, so we arranged a date where they could install the Choco Brown 3" flooring I had purchased from a local flooring supplier. My home is only 1000sq.ft and when they arrived on the installation day they made quick work of my home. They were able to complete my home in a single day and the quality of the installation was outstanding! Robert and Derek are very good at what they do, their attention to the small details is what made our home fit for a magazine cover. I have and would highly recommend Floorwood to install hardwood floors.

We have used Robert at recommendation of a friend who is a distributor of a reputable hardwood flooring company (Vintage hardwood) on several projects over the last 10 years. Each time, he has come through with top quality workmanship and reliability. His prices are very fair. I have used another company before for another project because Robert was not available for the timing I needed, and I was sorry that I didn't use him that time. I could really tell between the difference in quality of workmanship between the other crew and Robert's work. Our last project was my mom's condo with glued down Vintage engineered oak with cork underpad. The condo flooring was perfect, and the condo went from average to glam! I was very pleased with Robert and Derek's work. Keep up the good work guys!

Floorwood Solutions helped me to install about 600 square feet of dark coloured hardwood maple into 3 rooms. I have nothing but good things to say about everyone I dealt with at Floorwood Solutions. Patricia answered all my questions quickly, and even helped save me money by telling me not to buy transition pieces (where the hardwood meets another flooring surface -- in my case tile) since the company can make them on the spot using the regular hardwood strips. Rob and Darek arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, took a quick look around, and told me that they would be able to finish all three rooms within the same day. They were efficient and polite, and did an impeccable job. No gaps, they handled the wood very carefully, and it turned out beautifully. As promised, the job was finished on time (perhaps even a little early!), and the waste was minimal, which allowed me to save even more money, since I was left with 2 completely unopened boxes that I was able to take back for a refund. I definitely recommend them, well worth the money!
