    Chris and Chris were lovely

    Texturock on Basement Floor Our basement had an unfortunate flood and the carpets all had to be ripped up. We were looking for attractive solutions in case the flooding ever happened again, and we came across Texturock which is mold and mildew resistant. Chris was very helpful and accomadating. He was fine with our very sometimes annoying barking shih tzu and completed the work within two days. He installed a decorative boarder around the edges and even provided feedback when asked about esthetics. We would recommend and work with this company in the future no question. They were fantastic and the floor is beautiful. We have already had numerous compliments! Thanks Guys!!!

    Beautiful floors, professional work.

    Floors (over the entire condo) We spent a year looking for someone to do our floors. Yes, I lived on plywood flooring for a year. It was worth the wait and all the trouble because not only is the product exceptional, the guys from Stone Cote were awesome.

    We're already talking about the next project they can come and work on.

    I would have liked to be able to pay with my VISA, bc I would have gotten a lot of points. But that is really so minor and insignificant.

    Front porch We met Jarret and Chris at the Ancaster Fall Home Show in 2007 and were very impressed with both them and their product. We hired Stonecote to cover our front porch, which is rather large. Because it was in November, and cold and wet, the guys had to go way beyond normal installation methods to complete the job. To get the product to dry properly, they tarped the porch and ran heaters. They even came during the night to change the propane tanks and make sure the epoxy was setting up correctly. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the outstanding quality of the work and dedication of the crew. Jarret returned first thing in the spring to check the porch because of the weather conditions during installation. He pressure washed and re-coated the porch at no charge to make sure it looked its best.

    Each year we are contacted by Stonecote to check if there are any issues and ensure we are completely satisfied. Because the porch was higher from the path than we preferred, I had poured a small additional step just prior to the stone coating. As there was no footing under it, it did sink last winter. This created a crack in the Stonecote, but Chris came and ground the separation smooth for us, again, at no charge.

    We highly recommend the company and their product - they are definitely professionals! We feel this was the best money we've ever spent on the house and couldn't be happier with the result!

    Chris and Jerret are artisans!

    Basement flooring Chris and Jerret totally transformed our basement! We had it waterproofed from outside, and didn't want to make major investment tearing out the crappy concrete, so they tore up what was rough, cleaned it up, then laid the cool texturock (tiny river rock stones) directly onto the floor. It looks like a rock carpet now, and the kids love it. And they did it all in two super super long, hardworking days! We highly recommend Chris & Jerret for any job in your home, very polite and thorough.

    Excellent workmanship and service

    Front porch - cement slab Decided to use Stonecote based on homestars reviews. Jarrett and Chris were great from the start. Jarrett provided details so that i could estimate cost without him coming out (they use standard rates per sq.ft and linear ft. etc). He and Chris then came out to show samples of the rock/colours, and confirmed the cost of the job. Job was started about 1 week and half after the initial visit and total job was completed in 2 days. One thing that i really liked was that Chris performed all the work himself - no subcontractors - so knew that i was getting the best possible service from the owners of the business. The pictures on the website don't do the product justice - really need to see it to appreciate how nice it looks - even looking at the samples provide a better indication on the quality of the product. Overall extremely pleased with the workmanship and service provided. Would highly recommend. Thanks Chris and Jarrett for a great job.

    Excellent product and superb service

    Bathroom renovation Jerret and Chris worked with us to create a custom tub surround and floor covering for our bathroom. The tub surround was created with the stone and expoxy finish and the floor was the grouted finish. The work was completed promptly and with excellent customer service. The product is sensational and the look of our new bathroom is unique and second to none. I would highly recommend this business to anyone wishing to create a truly unique look in any part of their home. We are currently planning a basement renovation and will certainly be using this company again!

    basement floor I got about 5 quotes to remove a crumbling basement floor and replace it. Stonecote's price was in the middle. I was amazed by the product, the fact that previous clients were so satisfied that they opened their door to me to show me what the product was like (it is hard to imagine it from a tile) and the friendliness of Jerret, Chris and Peter. Jerret kept me informed every step of the way and took time to explain the process to me...and my curious neighbours. The finished floor is awesome and a real conversation piece. I would definitely recommend Stonecote - the product and this company

    Jarret and company were great

    Basement flooring job (cover concrete) I am finishing the basement of my 145 yr. old home. I wanted something that was a simple install and that had the potential of easy repair in case i ever had to dig up the basement for any reason. i have had to twice in 8 yrs. and you know how old houses are. I found Jarret via a homestars search for basement flooring. He came to show me samples and talk about the project in the evening when i could be home. He was thorough, smart and knowledgeable about the job and even had advice on other parts of my reno. The quote was done the next day and was within my budget. the work was very well executed in exactly the time he said it would be. the place was cleaner than when they came in. the flooring looks great and i have already lined them up to do my upstairs bathroom. if you need an interesting floor covering that is flexible and looks great, call Jarret. He'll do a first rate job. one thing i very much appreciated was that if he was even going to be as little as 15 minutes later arriving because of traffic or whatever, he'd call me and let me know. his company is one i can feel good about giving my money to.
