Sam arrived promptly with his crew and replaced all the Mortar between the bricks in the front of the house and spot repaired the other walls. They also removed the old Chimney pipe and sealed it up (as we now have a high effeciency) and removed old caulking from windows and recaulked. Great job, fast and friendly.

Nowadays, it is a blessing to find a good contractor who stands by their WARRANTY for the work done. I am so glad that I have chosen Sam the handyman and crew to repair my chimney in September 2012. Beginning of March 2012, strong winds gusting over 100 kms swept through Thornhill, few bricks on my chimney were slightly chipped. I contacted Sam; they responded immediately and came to my house to take care of the chimney repair while I was away to Vancouver for three weeks. They contacted me by e-mail telling me that once they got up there, they found more repairs were to be made. They stand by their warranty and took the initiative to do a thorough repair. When I returned home, to my surprise, the chimney has been built with matching new bricks I am so appreciative to their professionalism, excellent customer service and warranty.

Emailed a few companies for a quote on bricking up a window and Sam was the first to respond. They were able to squeeze in my project earlier than scheduled as the weather was very accommodating. They showed up on time and they were very polite and professional. The brick they chose blended well with the existing brick and they left the site cleaner than they found it! I will definitely use Sam the handyman again for our future Masonry projects!

Hello I and my sister-in-law had our roof done from Sam the handyman they also did about 4 other roofs in our area.I was very pleased with the work done on my home. These guys do not play games they are in and out in one day. My roof is close to 3000 sq ft and it looks great with the BP 50yr Shingles. I would recommend Sam and his crew for a new roof to anyone out there. Great Job Guys you really know God bless you guys

We had an emergency masonry job that had to be completed before our roofer could finish his work. Finding someone to do the tuck-pointing was proving difficult until I found your site by chance and started looking through the reviews to find someone who is near my location. I found sam the handyman reviews to be exceptional -- a man after my own heart with regards to customer service!! (We own an old-fashioned retail business). So I called Sam to see if he was available to come and see our job. Unfortunately, he was busy with other jobs but he said he would make a call to a colleague on our behalf seeing that it was an emergency repair. Within minutes, he called back, told me he was able to contact someone for us and they would call us shortly. A man of his word, his contact called me within 45 minutes to tell me that in understanding our situation to be an emergency, they have been able to re-arrange another job and send someone to us at the crack of dawn the next day to give us a quote and potentially start immediately. The man arrived exactly at the time he said, he emailed us the quote which was far less than I had imagined it would be and started immediately on the job. My husband and I have been so stressed out over this repair and the prospect of finding someone who can do this immediately in order for our roofer to finish on time. Sam saved our day, our roofer's schedule and our sanity. And he is making nothing on the job except for our undying gratitude. We try to offer the same customer service in our business, even when we won't be making the sale and it is very special for us to be able to find a like-minded contractor. We will definitely be calling Sam in the future to actually do some work for us

Spoke with Sam regarding rebuilding our crumbling chimney. When he came over we discussed a solution for our front steps and broken concrete pad. Sam had some good ideas for the steps and came back with a very reasonable price. Joe and Mike knocked our chimney down and rebuilt it better than new in less than a day, returning the next to install flashing and do a final caulk. They both came the next day and did an OUTSTANDING job. They tore out and did the concrete pad, and clad the porch, steps, and new concrete pad in flagstone. They did what seemed like a week's work in less than 2 full days and they were unfailingly polite and professional. We were really impressed with the whole Sam the handyman and we are very happy with the work done.

Worn concrete on porch and steps, bricks cracking, splitting/flaking, needed repairs. We requested flagstone on porch and steps, and wall cladding with natural stone veneer. Sam advised on and helped us viewing, then Sam and Paul selected the materials. The skillful craftsmanship of Mike resulted in showing the beauty of natural stone. Writing this review because my wife's got removed. First of to make it clear, we did not pay for the work done by Sam, however we do have the original receipt and the transferrable warranty that goes with it. The service was paid for by the previous owner Richard as part of the conditions on the purchase agreement, the previous owner also confirmed with Sam that the warranty is transferrable. The issue at hand is a pipe stack on the roof which is leaking. We had our home inspector come review the work by Sam before closing, he confirmed some work was done but it was just a patch job using water proof spray to go over the gasket and flashing. After closing on the house we noticed water was still getting in from the stack, called Sam first time he pushed it off saying he won't be in the office for a couple days, 2nd time he said he had to check his files and call back.... There was no call back, we called several times afterwards and got vm. Again as posted by my wife before the work is done around Finch and Leslie area, you also did chimney repairs and the previous owner was Richard. I am positive if you check your files you will find it. On top of that I can even scan the original receipt along with the warranty which you written on it and upload that here. EDIT: reply to company reponse. If you read my post you will notice this was not pipe work, or plumbing work . It is a leak from either the gasket or the flashing aroud the pipe stack on the roof. As noted in your company profile you do repair to leaky roof and also metal roof as well as masonary work for chimney. Well thats exactly what we have, a metal roof with a leak around the pipe stack (again no plumbing work was done, it was leak repair) and also masonary work on the chimney. I am certain you are the company because I have the original receipt with me. So please before you accuse my review not have straight facts, you should properly answer and return calls and discuss it with me.

There are few disturbing points here. We don’t fix any pipes. We don't do any plumbing. We have no record of any pipe being fixed on anyh property. There are several companies with same name across GTA. We have no record of you in here; please check your facts before placing any feedbacks for any company.
