After having our furnace red-tagged by Direct Energy, and getting quotes from 5 different companies, we were relieved when Rob and Jamie came to our home to provide us with our sixth quote. We knew almost immediately that Reliable Home Comfort was the one for us. We hired them and they came in on the Friday before Thanksgiving long weekend. The job was more difficult and time consuming than any of us expected. Even though it was a long weekend, they didn't rush the job and finished the work to our complete satisfaction. During the initial inspection they listened to our concerns and provided expert advice. Reliable Home Comfort was the only (of the six) to offer the full package (furnace, humidifier and thermostat) plus they include a 10-year maintenance package in the pricing for a competitive value. They went above and beyond, and now our home is warm (just in time) and the furnace is safe and working perfectly. We will refer this company to all of our friends, family and if you're unsure of who to hire, don't look any further than Reliable Home Comfort! Rob and Robert were sent by Dave and they were very professional. They explained all the options.. easily understood and gave us the opportunity to make a informed decision to fix or replace an older A/C They explained all the warranties and up keep and the energy costs with the new unit. On their own time they checked every thing out. Some things will have to be changed in the future and I feel really comfortable with having them back.

We called Reliable Home Comfort recently to come assess our furnace, for which we required a humidifier installation in a relatively tight space. We'd already had another HVAC company come out to provide us with an estimate, and that installer had said he wouldn't be able to do it -- there wouldn't be enough space without moving the furnace (!). However, the Reliable Home Comfort team of Rob and Rob (the "two Robs") came out right away, immediately found a solution to the tight space issue, and said it wouldn't be a problem whatsoever. Not only were they able to do the job same-day for a very reasonable price, they were also extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and answered all and any questions we had. My furnace started making noise when we turned it on in early October. I called Reliable and it took us a few days to coordinate a visit; however, based on the Homestars reviews, I thought they would be worth the wait - and I was right! The technician Chris arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem and provided me with two options: repair ($700 - $900) or replacement ($1900). With an 11 year-old, bottom-of-the-line furnace I didn't choose, I opted for replacement and the 10-year warranty that comes with it. Two days later, two friendly, fast and efficient installers arrived, removed and took away the old furnace, installed the new furnace more quickly than expected, and cleaned up thoroughly. Great service with great prices - how can you beat that? I won't hesitate to use Reliable again and to recommend them to friends, family and colleagues.

My AC brooke down in the summer during the warm heat wave and i needed it fixed fat. One of my friends told me about reliable as the best way to go. I called them up and shortly after a very freindly and polite guy named Andrew came to my door and fixed my problem in well under an hour. My friend was right, Andrew fixed the problem fast and gave a better deal then what other componies like direct energy was giveing, plus no wait time. I got quotes from several other companies that sounded like a telemarketer running through a script. He'll listen to exactly what you want, explain to you in detail why he recommends a particular solution, and go into as much technical detail as you're comfortable with. Jamie and his crew did my install, and they are professionals in every sense. They arrived on time, were respectful of my home and family, and went above the call of duty to finish the job. Recently Reliable Home Comfort installed a new Goodman gmvc gas furnace. Furnace is very quite but above all Dave, the owner was always available on the phone and patiently and promptly answers all my question to my satisfaction. Shane and Mark the installer were excellent and quite receptive to suggestions, very friendly and patient to all my questions. I will highly recommend them.
