AC would not stop when the thermostat was switched off. Called up Reliable and the very next day in the morning the technician Leory arrived and replaced the faulty contactor. Very clean job and very courteous. Also gave a good quotation for a new system (ours is more than 15 years old). Dave had called up earlier to explain how much they would charge etc. Very professional.

Was concerned that the AC coil was leaking condensation into the furnace. Chris came out the very next day and checked over the system. Found the coil had been improperly installed and the system was low on Freon. He fixed it up no problem. Some dirt in the system caused it to act up and he came back and had it repaired in less than 30 mins, no charge. Chris recommended an in-line filter for the unit to keep dirt out of the compressor, caused by the poor original installation. Great work by Dave and Chris at keeping our aging AC up and running. Definitely call them if you are having troubles with your HVAC!

My furnace blower motor wouldn't stop when the thermostat sent the disconnect signal, so the only way to stop it was to switch the whole thing off from the main switch. I did a search on the Home Stars web site for “Heating & Air Conditioning” companies rated 10 stars. I chose Reliable Home Comfort because I liked the reviews and I also liked and decided to try their “TroubleFree” Comfort Protection. I called Dave and he explained in a no-nonsense and straightforward way how that works. He sent two technicians Jaime and Rob, very knowledgeable, polite and patient with all my questions. They found the problem in a matter of minutes, the control board had blown because of water leakage from the poorly insulated AC copper pipes done by the contractor who initially installed the furnace. They also found that I actually had no heat either because of the blown board. The very next day they came back with a new board, installed it, fixed the faulty insulation, did a thorough inspection of the whole furnace and gave me tips on simple “do-it-yourself” maintenance tasks that will help with my furnace’s life. And all this at a VERY reasonable price. I will recommend this company to my friends and colleagues and I will definitely ask for Jaime and Rob next time I have HVAC problems.

Just one night in our new home convinced us that we could not survive without central air. Since the furnace was over 40 years old, it made sense to replace it at the same time. Dave is for sure the person to call when your A/C is having an issue. He is always reachable and able to come within one day or two. He is friendly, knowledgable and never pushes sales. Plus he gives tips to help maintain the unit. I highly recommend him to all my relatives and friends. This company deserves 10 PLUS rating.

Polite and respectful when on site, but one small issue arose afterward. Dave took great effort to come out and did more than fix the small problem to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the service provided. I would call Dave for future work or recommend him and Reliable to others.

They were punctual and very easy to talk to. Explained the situation in a professional and friendly manner and told me what i could do. They fixed my air conditioning very quickly and now it feels like its running like when it was new! Great service, I would recommend these guys to my friends who are in need of home repairs.

We had a great experience with the professionals from Reliable. We called on Saturday and they were here Monday morning to install an excellent quality, wonderfully quiet, new air conditioner. They were helpful and knowledgable and we will be contacting them again in the fall for a new furnace. Highly recommended!

After a receiving fantastic service from Reliable when our furnace broke down this winter, they were the first (and only) company we thought of when we decided to finally get AC in our home.
