Dave is for sure the person to call when your A/C is having an issue. He is always reachable and able to come within one day or two. He is friendly, knowledgable and never pushes sales. Plus he gives tips to help maintain the unit. I highly recommend him to all my relatives and friends. This company deserves 10 PLUS rating.

Polite and respectful when on site, but one small issue arose afterward. Dave took great effort to come out and did more than fix the small problem to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the service provided. I would call Dave for future work or recommend him and Reliable to others.

They were punctual and very easy to talk to. Explained the situation in a professional and friendly manner and told me what i could do. They fixed my air conditioning very quickly and now it feels like its running like when it was new! Great service, I would recommend these guys to my friends who are in need of home repairs.

We had a great experience with the professionals from Reliable. We called on Saturday and they were here Monday morning to install an excellent quality, wonderfully quiet, new air conditioner. They were helpful and knowledgable and we will be contacting them again in the fall for a new furnace. Highly recommended!

After a receiving fantastic service from Reliable when our furnace broke down this winter, they were the first (and only) company we thought of when we decided to finally get AC in our home. I called on Monday and Mark and Shane arrived right on time the very next day. Both guys were polite, courteous and went above and beyond to troubleshoot around our less than ideal configurations. I can't speak highly enough about Reliable Home Comfort. They provide truly exemplary service at competitive rates. Highly highly recommended.

AC stopped working properly (not cooling the air), and another Home Star reviewed company came out to repair. They replaced the capacitor, but that wasn't the issue, and they didn't come back to do a second repair. I was able to diagnose the problem with some Internet research-- clean coils, good air flow, but the lines are iced up. Low freon! Not something I can fix myself. Back to Home Stars-- who is next in line? The dispatcher from Reliable was very nice, and apologized that they couldn't get someone out that very night, is tomorrow ok? Heck, yes, next day service is always great! I'm just glad it wasn't "we'll be there in a week or so". The technician looked at the symptoms and came to the exact same conclusion: low freon. He topped it up and checked for a leak. He couldn't find one, which means either previous A/C service people didn't top up the AC, or during the winter when the metals contract, it forms a small leak (which gets sealed in the heat when the metals expand). He gave some good tips for maintenance, and asked us to check the AC as soon as the winter is over. If it's low freon again, then the "contracting metals" theory might be correct. The air came out nice and cool, as confirmed with my thermometer and theirs. The house cooled down over time, and the AC has been working since. Thanks, Reliable, for a quick turn around, accurate and affordable repair, and the promise of future support!

Dave is super friendly and very forthright. He came, had a look and made his reco. We called him back a few weeks later and his team came out a day or two after. They were quick and efficient and very patient answering our questions.

My A/C broke down last week during the heat wave. I sent Reliable a service request via their website on Tuesday. After not hearing back and realizing how busy it is I gave them a call on Wednesday and I was referred to Liv. Liv called me back shortly and promised to come first thing Thursday morning as my 1 1/2 year old daughter was really feeling the heat. He arrived right on time (7 a.m.). He took his time to diagnose the problem while explaining the issues to me. After replacing the capicitor and topping up the refridgerant, my A/C unit is functioning even better then before. Very professional group and I will be using them for any future HVAC needs.

Like most people, we discovered our very old AC was not working on a day when we really wanted it to be cool! Reliable sent out staff that same weekend and (as we expected) recommended a new unit. We have known since we bought the house 5 years ago that every year with this unit was a bonus, so we were not surprised that this was finally the year! The guys were clear and informative about our options and were able to get a crew out pretty quickly the following week to do the replacement. In the meantime we told our AC-less neighbours about the good price and good reviews from Homestars. They decided to get an AC installed too and Reliable was able to do their job on the same day as ours which was great since we are on the other side of the semi from them. Just due to the number of great reviews on here, we didn't bother getting other quotes, and I'm sure we had a very competitive price. When the AC seemed not be working a couple of weeks later, Reliable sent out a team very quickly to check it out. They discovered it had accidentally been turned off outside by other contractors and was not an issue with the unit or installation. All parties were happy with that! I am sitting in a nice cool house right now and really appreciating the great work that Reliable did!
