My central air conditioning broke down on Friday a.m. right before the long weekend. Temperatures for the next few days were predicted to be in the 30+ range. I was certain that a call on Friday would not yield any response. Fortunately, and to my surprise, Dave at Reliable said he would have a technician out later in the day. Livio came and repaired my unit within an hour. He was efficient, courteous, thorough and professional. He also explained everything to me which I appreciated. The service was exemplary! My thanks to Dave and Livio.

After using Reliable to replace our home furnace last year and having such a positive experience they were naturally the first call we made when our A/C went on the fritz during the recent heatwave. Given the unit was 21 years old we suspected a new conditioner was the likely outcome. Leroy confirmed this was the case and provided a quote. To make sure we did our due diligence we obtained 2 other quotes. Ultimately, given our prior positive experience and Reliable's great follow-up we determined they were the only ones to go with. Pete installed the unit and worked non-stop throughout the day in 30+ temperatures. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional keeping me updated on his progress. The unit Reliable recommended is outstanding. Our old unit never fully cooled down our upper level. This new unit keeps the house comfortable and is extremely efficient. After installation, Rob handled all the paperwork to file our rebate claim with Toronto Hydro. We are once again extremely pleased with the service, value and expertise provided by Dave and the Reliable crew. They are extremely honest and totally committed to customer service. We recommend them without reservation.

This company is absolutely amazing! My air conditioner broke down while I was away on vacation and came back to a sauna in my home. With another heat wave on the way I needed help quickly. I called up Reliable Home Comfort late in the afternoon and they were able to get an amazing technician named Leroy out to assist me the next morning. Leroy was in constant communication with me, showed up perfeectly on-time, made the diagnosis on my A/C unit, then was able to go back and get a brand new A/C unit, come back to my house and install it to perfection all in the same day! The service was outstanding and I am extremely pleased I called Reliable Home Comfort. Thank you very much Leroy and RHC!

Very easy email communication with Rob to set up what kind of unit i would need for my house size, and a date for installation. He was able to come by after work, in the evening and made a quick and solid installation. Both Rob and the person that helped with the install were very friendly. He went through how to take care of the unit and explained the warranty, etc. When we tried to tip them both, Rob refused money for himself, said it was too much. Couldn't have been any easier and for a Great Rate at that!

We looked for company to install air-condition|humidifier in new house in thornhill woods, Reliable Home Comfort were NOT the cheapest one, but had the best comments in HomeStarts, they were great, fast efficient and friendly, 1 year after we had a problem with the A/C, i called them and they came on the same day,and instead of ordering the part (A/C fan) they change the whole A/C to new A/C !! in less then 40 minutes and with a smile, their product is great but their service is even better, for me , the service is what count (try staying at home in heat wave with 3 little kids.....) - this company value its clients .

I turned on my AC when I heard a heat wave was on its way, but it wouldn't start. When I called Reliable, they cautioned me that they were backed up by "a couple of days", but gave me the owner's email address to request an appointment. Their tech Leroy called me within an hour of my sending the email and was able to squeeze me in the next day, even though I'd indicated I was willing to wait a few days (no babies or elderly people in the house, and I'm at work all day). He was courteous, efficient, and thorough. In just under an hour, he'd identified the problem, fixed it, and gave my AC unit a good cleaning to boot. This isn't the first time I call on Reliable Home Comfort and I won't hesitate to do so again.

I called Reliable Home Comfort and spoke to Livio yesterday. He made an appointment with me for today but I requested him to "try" and come by on the same day (30 degrees weather!) To my knowledge, Reliable Home Comfort is the only company that will come and diagnose the AC problem for free (Unlike many other companies who charge $159 and more just to diagnose the problem). Even though he was busy, he made it a point to call and come on the very same day at around 7:30pm. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and prompt in diagnosing the issue. He filled up the freon and stated that the $314 would go towards the cost of an AC, if we should choose to buy it from Reliable Home Comfort within a year. Livio was courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I would reccommend this company to anybody who is looking to repair / fix their AC.
