I have researched and contacted many, many HVAC installers. I installed HVAC at another home last year and in this house only 3 short years ago. I wasn't sure a new system would solve my issues of a noisy (clanging) furnace and not getting cold A/C air up to the second floor. Other "experts" told me it was my ducts, that I couldn't change the air pressure in the home, all sorts of excuses. Most furnaces wouldn't fit into the tiny space allocated in this 15 year old home. I guess this job was too challenging for the other HVAC companies highlighted at Homestars. One of the first things they noticed was that my tankless water heater installed a year ago wasn't to code and needed to be remedied; they did this for me too. As it happens, I was already emailing back and forth with Dave a year ago regarding my issues and the causes; he teaches HVAC. Well, I have the best system: it's silent, it's cold upstairs, and I will look forward to silent and warm winters. Rob is the most professional guy out there, and believe me I know because I've spoken to a list of them. I've attached photos of Arthur and Andrew completing the work in the tiny space that others declined.

Based on many positive reviews here on Homestars, I contaced Dave @ Reliable when my A/C was not cooling when turned on this summer. After an assessment, it was determined we had a leaky condenser that needed replacing. I asked Walter if we would be better off just getting a new AC - as it is an older model. He said that was not necessary, and once the part was replaced it should be OK for a while - and I very much appreciated the honesty. The condenser was not in stock, so Walter was back in two days to install it. He was friendly, very easy to speak to, and got the job done! Even made some suggestions on keeping the system running well. We will definitely be calling again for future maintenance needs, and when the time comes for a new AC. Thanks!

Dave installed our air conditioning system last year. My wife suffers from migraine headaches and when our A/C system stopped working during the present heat wave it was devastating. The owner, Dave showed up on time and fixed the problem, which happened to be a clogged air filter. This was our fault, not his, but he quickly and efficiently corrected the problem and---get this---NO CHARGE! He's just happy to have us as a regular customer. What a wonderful firm and a great businessman!

Dave and his team did a great job on tight timeline. My AC broke down about 4 weeks ago and called several companies for quotes (many of which are listed on Homestars) only about 50% called back and out of the other half most were telling me it would take over a week before they could even take a look at the unit. Dave from Reliable Home Comfort was the opposite - he agreed to come out the next evening and gave a great quote and told me what I needed to do to qualify for the energy rebates. The installation team was also amazing. They put down sheets ever where to protect the floors and worked steadily for over 10 hours to get everything set up and show me how everything worked and cleaned up so well you would never know that any work had been done (except for the cool breeze that now fills the air) . I would highly recommend Reliable Home Comfort to anyone look for professional work done at an amazing price.

Based on reviews here on Homestars, I called Dave for what I thought would be a relatively minor job - a dead AC. Walter came the next day, and diagnosed it as a broken fan motor. He walked me through all the options available, clearly and calmly answered my questions, and we decided to replace the almost 15 year old AC and furnace with new high efficiency ones. Two installers - Jamie and Vince - showed up on the following Saturday. What a pair of pros! Patient, professional, courteous, and hard working - they put in 11 hours that first day! They returned on the the Monday to finish the job, cleaned up well, with Jamie walking me through the installation once done. My elderly father - who came buy to watch them work (he has a lifelong habit of checking on any tradesperson to make sure they are doing a decent job), actually didn't bother to stay to watch them finish, as he was convinced that they were an outstanding crew - and he has NEVER done that for anyone before. That alone, tells you what kind of team Dave has set up to represent his company. I would not hesitate a second to recommend this team. Dave, congrats on running such a quality operation. Dave was extremely helpful, knowledgable and professional in giving us his opinion on a leaking furance issue. We had a leak around the floor of our furnace that had been coming and going over the last month. I googled furnace repair in Brampton, and Reliable Home Comfort came up quickly, among a few other local companies. Dave from Reliable was the only one that picked up the phone at 5 pm on Sunday. He was out here at 9:30 pm, and had my problem completely fixed and explained by 9:50 pm. I was very impressed by how quickly he understood the nature of the issue, and what needed to be done. He explained to me what the previous owner had tried to do, why it was wrong, and what would need to be done in the future. I strongly recommend Reliable Home Comfort for any future furnace/AC work.

We were very impressed right from the start with Dave and his team. We initially met them when we had water heater trouble. We were extremely satisfied with their service and communication and decided to proceed with a larger job. We had them install a new furnace and air conditioner as both our units were old and we were interested in qualifying for the eco energy grants. Dave and his team were on time, professional, clean and completed the job in one day. Dave was also able to upgrade our A/C unit to a more efficient model without added cost. We have already passed on their name to friends and neighbors and will happily use their company again!
