We had a great experience with Arby, his son and the crew. From the first phone call to the end of move in day, everything went smoothly. Arby's price was much less than I was quoted by other companies which made me nervous...until I met him at our home. We found him to be very trustworthy and professional. Arby came to our home to assess how much room we needed to move. He decided on two trucks since he would need to send 4 guys. Our garment boxes were delivered to our home a week before the move, as promised. Those things are GREAT and are an option you should not pass on, in my opinion. The men did not break for lunch, but ate in the truck between locations. In fact, I never saw them take any breaks. All of our possessions were well treated, no damage or missing items. They took the beds apart and then put them back where requested in a timely manner. When the trucks arrived at the new house, the driveway was a tight squeeze, but with great driving, they made it in. I am sorry it has taken me this long to get this review written. We moved from a 2500 sq foot town house to a 1600 sq foot condo. I received a number of quotes and whilst Arby Cartage where slightly more expensive I was impressed by the time they took to look around the house, recognise my protection over some key pieces of furniture and provided lots of assurance on how they would look after everything. We also paid to have someone come the day before to pack up the kitchen and glassware. Well worth it! The day of the move went really well and the guys who came worked non stop all day. Some of the furniture was heavy and bulky and yet they handled it with care and respect. Will absolutely be using them again when we move again.

The guys at Arby were very easy to deal with and super professional in our interactions. The move happened fairly smoothly and they were able to navigate some pretty tight spaces with their truck - impressive! I felt that for the price paid, they could have spent a bit more time wrapping and protecting delicate items (I found out later that one of my speakers was damaged) but overall we were quite satisfied with the service.

We used Arby to move my girlfriend and I from our respective apartments into a new apartment together last summer. They were total pro's and their rate was very reasonable. The move involved multiple stairs and some tight spaces and they managed it all without any difficulty or complaint. I would definitely recommend them.

Great service and very professional. They arrived early and worked quickly while being careful with our belongings. Upon arrival to our new home, they laid out carpets and mats to minimize dirt. The price was fair and was on par with other moving companies - they provided moving boxes and a mattress protector for an additional cost. Overall, we thought they were efficient and did a good job.

When my mover didn't show up I frantically called Arby's and due to a cancellation they came in a matter of hours and worked till very late to get us moved. AND were careful, polite, helpful. Anil actually was very good at keeping me calm since the whole day had become so stressful. Great company.

Anil and his team from Arby’s were the best movers we have hired in the past 10 years. Not a single issue with scratched walls or furniture and they take the time to cover hard wood floors with runners. All furniture was packed accordingly and delivered to new house without issue. They arrived on time and job was completed very near the estimate – no complaints. Great crew and will definitely hire them again for future moves.

Arby was incredible to us before, during, and after our move. They really helped make it a less stressful day. They showed up early and got straight to work. The staff was VERY polite, professional and honest! After they were done our move, I got a call the next day from one of them saying that they had left a couple plugs (floor protectors for kithcen stools) in their truck and would drop them off in the next couple days. I was floored (no pun intended) as I hadn't noticed them missing and probably wouldn't have. I woke up the very next morning and they were in my mailbox! These guys worked very hard and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a hassle-free moving company!

We chose Arby Cartage based on the great reviews posted by other people on this site and are glad that we did. We've moved at least a half-dozen times over the years but this was definitely our best moving experience. Arby himself was very friendly and helpful when we organized the move via phone and email. It's a family business with a long history, so that makes it different from the usual moving companies. The only "complaint" I have is that the crew showed up 20 minutes early on moving day, which would have been great under usual circumstances but since we had been up really late the night before, we still had to finish loading up our own van with smaller items that we had piled near the entrance and hallway that would have been in the crew's way (but that was our fault and showing up early is much better than too late!). During the move, the crew was efficient and took good care of our stuff - it felt as if they were moving their own family's stuff. Most of all, we appreciated that Arby's son Anil, who is very professional and polite, took the time not only to re-assemble our daughter's day bed, but also offered to assemble her new IKEA bed which was still packaged in the box! -- I can only highly recommend this company and on top of all their rates for the move are more than reasonable. As others have already said, you'll be glad you hired them.

I moved from an apartment to a small house. Anil came to give a quote when he said he would, brought boxes to be used as needed, and came on time to do the move. He and his workers showed initiative in moving furniture that wouldn't fit, worked efficiently, and were friendly and polite. Nothing got broken. The bill had no add-ons that I hadn't been told about. I chose this company because of Anil's businesslike but pleasant approach, as well as a reasonable quote. Arby made the move as stress-free as it could be.
