I have been a resident of Pendleton, Indiana for almost two years now and have had to make multiple trips to the local Do It Best hardware store, Matthews Hardware. They have recently changed their location from downtown Pendleton to the outskirts of Pendleton. I believe this was due to the increase in the number of homes on the outer parts of the town limits as well as wanting a larger store with more inventory. Their new store is very spacious and has everything I would want in a local hardware store, most of all an extremely knowledgeable staff. I have had to do a lot of painting recently and they always know exactly what type of base to use for each job and have been able to match the colors my wife has been looking for to the "t". I will definitely be returning to Matthews Hardware in the future for all my Home repair needs.
