Window Replacement My windows were a disaster and Tony of Ambia was very helpful with his product knowledge and patience with my needs. He was very approachable and ready to suggest best products for my budget. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. He is truly a gentleman. I did have an issue with the installers, but Tony was quick to fix the issue.

“Thank you for taking the time to write a review Angelina. We aprreciate having you as a client and would like to thank you for choosing Ambia .”
Front entrance door We had Ambia replace our front entry door and sidelight, and everything was taken care of very well. Oday worked with us during the sales consultation process and was always available to answer our questions and concerns. The installation was done very well by Igor, and Tony was in constant contact with us after the order had been placed right up to the installation. And in the end Tony made sure that the installation of the door was completed to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the work done by Ambia, and recommend them without any reservations.

“Thank you Salman for your kind and considerate review. We appreciate your recognition for our efforts and teamwork . Thank you for choosing Ambia”
New basement windows, backdoor & stormdoor These guys rule. Tony always answers the phone and takes time to respond to all our questions. He quickly came to our house & gave us a very reasonable estimate.
Ambia was very accommodating--they installed our new windows and doors on the exact date we required with realatively short notice. Igor and his crew expertly, efficiently and quickly installed our new windows and doors. Tony came by the day of the installation to make sure we were satisfied and even gave us a few thoughtful and practical gifts to thank us for using Ambia.
We will definitely use these guys again for our upper windows. We've already strongly recommended Ambia to a few people and they'd be foolish not to use them. Thanks again Tony, Igor and crew.

We sourced out several companies and had a very good feeling about Ambia.
No pressure sales very professional services and lots of references.
They have great installers who did a great job and were more than happy to answer any of our questions.

“Thank you for your kind and courteous review Eddie. The team at Ambia appreciate your decision in choosing us for your project. ”
Window and door installation Tony was very approachable and accommodating. Part of our job was a little more complicated as we have a stained glass window as well as older moldings that we wanted to maintain. The crew was very able and efficient. W.r.t. windows and door details (vinyl colour, door handles etc.) it would have been nice to have been given the options without having to seek out the information myself. Overall very good service, good quality products and a job well done.

“Thank you for taking the time to write a review Nat. We appreciate your comments. We carry samples of windows, colors as well as brochures for windows, doors and door handles at all times. We suggested the cream color windows to match the exterior colors but you had mentioned that it was going to be painted White and I believe the additional cost was not within your budget so you decided on going with the standard White color. The door handles are available in two shades of brass as described and indicated in the brochures that were given to you . Somehow these options may have been overlooked or forgotten about and I apologize if this was not clear to you.Thank you for your positive thoughts on the stained glass window, installation and your overall satisfaction. ”
18 New Windows - retrofit After getting three quotes to replace all 18 windows in my 1904 three-storey house, Ambia's was by far the most competitive. I got wooden frames for the five windows at the front and the remaining were vinyl. The installers came on the date planned and took only two days to retrofit all 18 windows. They all fit nicely and very little damage was done to the outer frames. My only suggestion would be for the installers to take a bit more time to clean up the sawdust and debris from the sills. I would definitely recommend this company.

“The team at Ambia would like to thank you for your review Tom,we appreciate your comments and for choosing us for your project needs. ”
window replacement we had all the front windows to our house replaced last year. after rewiving many retailers, Tony's soft mannerism and his sales pitch and products impressed us the mose and we decieded to have our windows replaced. I must say he was accomodating, the installer
Dimitri was fantastic, even though before dimitri showed up we were sent a fiasco of an installer with tons of family problems. the job was completed to our satisfaction. though a few months later two of our windows, mainly our bathroom double hung windwos leaked water inside. Tony came to inspect, they sent the manufacturer (window city windows) they gave us nothing problems, port holes were not drilled in our windows, therefore a manufacturing defect... the service technician wanted to drill holes in the windows right then and there. we refused, with much dissatifaction on the manufacturer's behalf and insistance on our part, the windows were replaced. We decided within the year to have a quotaion on the back of the windows done, Tony came back and his prices were not as competitive this time around, we put the project on hold and in the maean time experienced mold growth oun our windows. Ever so gallant tony returned explaining he had never seen such on windows, took pictures and promised to have the windows looked at. to have someone show at the house was like pulling teeth, they did show after a few weeks and a few weeks later, the manufacturer stated that they could remove all the windows, clean the mold and re caulgh them again.
Are you kidding me. what happens to the argon gas fill...
so with Tony's help a representative of window city( who later turned out to be the chief executive officer) agreed to meet with us and tony at their office.
Our meeting was less then pleasurable, we were not given the opportunity to express our dissatisfaction and were kicked out of the building, and teld that we could take them to court.
this is where we were disappointed with Tony, he allowed us to walk out and when faced with adversity was not able to side with us.
we still love the windows, the back of our house to date has not been replaced and we are having troubles trusting another window company.
we will in the spring proceed unfortunatly with small claims court as we were left with no choice but to do such....
be aware before you choose a window city product. Tony is a nice person however the manufacturer does not care to please customers.
the cheif executive officer told us in our meeting that he did not need our business
we remain very disappointed shoppers

“I would like to thank you for your review Imma but quite frankly I am disappointed and surprised with your unfair and unreasonable comments directed to Ambia Windows and Doors especially when I made several visits to your home as well as numerous emails and consultation to establish a resolution to a relatively minor issue. We have been very supportive right from the start. I was always there for you and answered all your calls. I was on the jobsite while we were installing your windows to make sure everything went smootly. George had told me he was very happy with our price, product and installation and that there was a wide price range from the estimates you received. We also included extras incuding larger upgraded solid stain grade interior casing and Backband for all your windows and some interior door trims. On the second phase of your windows we offered you a generously discounted price and also included the patio door for free and the matching upgraded interior trim in appreciation for your business. We made every effort to accomodate the service required for your windows and although the leak in two of the bathroom windows were not defective and only required a small drainige hole to be routered and to insert a drain cap we looked after the entire replacement of those two windows as well. The mould which you describe is most probably as Window City stated dirt that somehow got trapped in between the exterior glass pane and the exterior weather stripping and as I mentioned I have never seen this occur before,it is an isolated case, yet Window City had agreed in a timely manner to take out the sealed glass units and clean off the dirt and reinstall, reseal the glass units for the windows concerned.Resealing the glass units is not required or neccesary but Window City was willing to provide this to you as an added measure. For eample:If a broken sealed glass unit had to be replaced the interior glazing stops are simply removed from the inside and the sealed glass unit is removed and replaced with a new one, that is all that is reqired or neccesary. This is a standard industry procedure. This method would not affect any Argon gas fill to escape as they are self contained and the weather stripping is permanently attached to the window profile known as the sash. If this were the case then we would not be able to change sealed units including Argon gas. You have chosen to decline the service,so I arranged to have a meeting with yourself and your husband George to meet myself and the President of Window City to show and explain to you the process they would use to service the windows. They were willing to service one window at a time in your home to make sure you are happy before proceeding to next window. They offered to send their Specialist to come and visit your home and vicinty to rule out any enviromental issues that could be a contributing factor with the dirt trapped in the windows. The President of Window City was polite and courteous in addressing your concerns to this situation and very patient,he listened to your concerns but you did not give him the opportunity to finish his explanation and for some reason you abruptly interrupted him, stood up and started walking out the door. This is somewhat frustrating and does not allow us in any way to resolve the situation. Window City has never declined to complete the service required for your windows and their commitment to service your windows still stands today. They are waiting to hear from you so that they can proceed.I have tried to contact you the same day and several times afterwards with out a response from either yourself or George and I don't understand it at all. You have to understand that in order for Ambia and Window City to assist you we have to be given the opportunity to do so. ”
Window Replacement Our 1950s home needed new windows, and Ambia did a terrific job in replacing them. Old plaster walls can often be fragile, yet the install of our windows went off without a hitch.
From Tony, to Andy, to Igor, everybody was very personable and helpful. Thanks guys - we would be happy to use you again in the future.

“The team at Ambia would like to thank you for your considerate review Noam. We are pleased to be given the opportunity to be of service and thank you for choosing Ambia Windows and Doors.”
Window Replacement We are very pleased with the newly installed windows from Ambia. Tony is very customer oriented, and provided advice in our choice of windows to our satisfaction, and was able to negotiate a good price.
The Ambia team were able to start the window installation a week earlier than planned. They quickly and efficiently replaced the windows, and cleaned up everything afterward.
Tony came by to follow-up on the last day of installation to make sure everything was going well and done to our satisfaction.
Thanks for making everything run smoothly!

“Thank you for taking the time to write your review Joe. We appreciate your comments. We are happy to be of service and glad to hear that you are pleased with our services and the many options we have available for you to choose from. ”
Windows We have a 100-year-old home with windows that had not been updated for decades. After meeting with representatives and looking at showrooms of several companies, we settled on Ambia, not only because of the quality of their windows (we chose the Heritage style), but also because of their professional, no-pressure sales approach. We worked with Oday, who went above and beyond to give us advice on the various window options and answered our many questions. The installation was a particular hurdle because our baby ended up being born earlier than expected, so the windows were installed only a couple of days after we came home from the hospital! The crew was respectful and managed to do the job smoothly with minimum inconvenience to us. The only drawback was that they wore their shoes in the house and there was a lot of dust and dirt that we ended up cleaning later. However, we're very happy with the windows and with the quality of the service we received.

“Thank you for your review Kelley, we appreciate your comments and the time you have taken to write it.Our installers are required by law to wear safety shoes when installing our products and we make every effort to wear over shoes and use drop sheets as well as clean up afterwards. Sometimes the weather is not favourable but if we miss something we would be happy to send someone back to clean up. Oday and the team at Ambia would like to express our gratitude for choosing us for your project. ”
