We found alex by looking at the reviews he had received from previous clients on homestars. Within several hours of my sending an email, Alex called me and we discussed the project. He explained the process and the costs. We set the time and he and his colleagues arrived on time. Their work was meticulous and there were no added surprises. The fees were slightly higher than some of the others that we received but you get what you pay for. I had fantastic pot lights installed and a ceiling fan mounted in a foyer and you would never know that we had work done in our house. Not a speck of dust seen. I recently had Alex, Rafael, and Adolfo come in to do a small job in my condo (7 pot lights in the living room). I called for a quote on Tuesday, and the job was done by Friday. The crew arrived on time and completed the job ahead of schedule. The final cost was exactly what was quoted, despite a couple of ad hoc requests on my end that Alex's team serviced free of charge. I contacted Alex from Maple Electric by email, he responded within the same day and made arrangements for him to come to my home to complete the project within a couple days of our initial contact. That alone is refreshing and a diversion from the norm! He and his crew arrived this morning (15mins ahead of schedule, again, shocking) and got straight to work. They were friendly, polite, considerate, and hard working. They were here for over 8 hours and completed the job, and some as I kept asking them if they could do more for me. The pot lights look great, not any evidence that this is an after-build process, and they left my home in exactly the same way it was when they arrived...except that I will have light! I would recommend Alex from Maple Electric to anyone and plan to do so. It is rare to find such diligent trades people, skilled and professional are just a few of the attributes I would use to describe him!!! A+++

I called Alex last week for a quote on 10 pot lights for my condo. His price was great and the timing was perfect - they were able to finish the job in a matter of hours. After calling to reseve a date, 4 people arrived on time, and took only 1 day to remove old lights where necessary, drill holes for the new pot lights, and feed new wiring through the ceiling for the Pot Lights. After they were done, they cleaned up completely and the new lights look fantastic. It was well worth the money and the people were all very friendle and professional.

Alex and his team arrived on time and provided excelent service. This is the second time we have used Alex to install potlights and were glad to have him back to do more work. This time we had potlights and two wall scones installed. Alex is very patient and helpful if you are not sure where you need the lights to be installed. We have an older house in the Beaches, and were worried about how much damage would be required to install new lighting. Alex was able to install 8 pot lights through drywall and plaster, all without creating any holes in our walls. The two small holes that were created in our plaster ceiling were filled and sanded down, and are now as good as new (old!). In addition to the potlights, we hired Alex to install new fixtures, and to replace two old fuse boxes with a new breaker panel. He completed the work meticulously, making sure all wiring was well organized and main breakers labelled for our reference. We have used other electricians (and other contractors) but none provided the level of care and detail we received from Alex and team. We recommend them without reservation. Thank you.
