We had 8 pot lights installed by Alex. He was on time, very professional and was very outstanding. Alex and Adolfo were very friendly and good at explaining the process of their job. Exceptional work was done by them and I recommend them to everyone.

Alex and his team replaced four existing lower quality potlights and installed two new potlights. He was able to effectively address the challenges he encountered in replacing the existing four potlights and installed the two new potlights. Alex and his team also spent time in advance to prepare the area and spent time after to clean up. I would use Alex again.

We had Alex install 16 pot lights in our basement. We are making a playroom for our boys and the room was really dark. Wow - now it has wonderful lighting and the room has been transformed. Alex was great. He was able to find pot lights and dimmer switches that matched the other ones installed in the rest of the house by the previous owner. The finished job looks wonderful and works great. My parents just had pot lights installed by a difference pot lighting company and 8 bulbs burned out in the first day because their installer used poor quality bulbs – and charged the same rate as Alex. Alex uses good quality bulbs and we have had no burnouts. I will be calling Alex back in the future for our next renovation - the family room.

Our living room had not existing lighting and was very dark, we called 3 different pot light companies and being summer and in demand, could barely get anyone on the phone, or at least had to wait up to a month just to meet with them. I got Alex right away and he came over that weekend to discuss the job. He went over the different light options, everything was explained and he was very courteous to deal with and he pricing is extremely fair. Our house was built in 1927 and eventually found out that along the way they installed drywall over the existing plaster and lath. So the job was at least twice as hard to do, causing problems with the equipment used to drill, run wires, couldn't use the stud finder to find the joist, you name it, everything was thrown at Alex & Adolfo. Working with Plaster also tends to get very messy and damage is inevitable as it cracks easily so touching up is required. In the end they were able to run everything they needed too, NO damage at all to the ceiling or the walls, the pot lights worked amazingly, looks like they were installed when the house was built (if they had them back then!). In the end they cleaned up all the mess from the cut plaster and drywall and when they left you wouldn’t have known they had been their. Alex knew exactly what he was doing, his experience really showed off that day and I will hire him again when we need more lighting installed. He also hung a chandelier for us in the dinning room, very quick and its perfect. All in all I could not recommend anyone more than Alex, ( having an old house we’ve had many contractors work on our house ) he did exactly what he said he would do, took the EXTRA time and patience required for this particular tricky job and made it look perfect. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Alex and Adolfo.

We recently purchased an older home and our insurance company required some immediate upgrades to the electrical. The team at Maple Leaf were very responsive and quoted a fair price. When they came into our house to do the work, they thoroughly cleaned the floors and the outside walkway. That was a nice touch. We plan to do more electrical upgrades in the coming months and years and will definitely call Maple Leaf first.

Alex has done electrical work for me on over 10 jobs. He is an honest and hard worker. Alex always shows up on time and completes the job on time. It's nice to use someone reliable! I will continue to use him and highly recommend him. -Scott

Alex worked hard to fit us into his busy schedule within a week or so. We had a few odd jobs including hanging a chandelier, replacing an old bathroom light fixure, disconnecting a front post light and installing an electrical socket. He and his partner showed up early and were done in no time. They gave us a lot of good ideas about other lighting issues we have and we look forward to addressing these with Mapleleaf in the near future.

When I first contacted Alex he was very helpful and gave me quote right away for outdoor potlights I needed. I had to reschedule once due to bad weather, but each time I called Alex he was always quick to answer and schedule another time in his schedule which worked for me. This was definetly a plus for me as I hate having to leave messages and wait for someone to call back. Alex arrived on time and gave me a walk through of the work he was going to do and showed me the lights he was installing (Contrast Lights, one of the best on the market). Alex and his assistant Adolpho worked fast and efficiently and got the work done within a matter of hours. The end result a home with great looking potlights that look amazing at night.
