I hired Mapleleaf Electric to run all the wiring and power for a new basement apartment in Newmarket over the winter. They gave a detailed quote, and stuck to it. They were a friendly crew, who worked very quickly, and were able to accommodate my timing needs. We are so pleased with the work, that i have recommended them to all my clients, family and friends.

Part of the main floor and all of the upper floor of our house had knob and tube wiring. I had dreaded getting the wiring replaced, but was amazed at how quickly Alex and his crew got it done, and how few holes they made. Alex even came back later, and at no charge, installed some specialized switches we had ordered. We were extremely happy with Mapleleaf, and would highly recommend them.

We recently had the electrical service to our house increased from 60amp to 100amp, the electrical panel upgraded, and a lot of knob and tube wiring replaced. Alex and his crew were professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. They were polite and friendly in all of our interactions, both on the phone and in person, and finished our project in easily within our time frame. Our work required them to put holes in several walls and ceilings and they did their best to put them in inconspicuous locations and patched them when they were done. They were always willing to do a bit more work to put outlets, light switches, and pot lights in the most convenient places. Their prices was competitive and we are very happy with the end result. We will definitely call Alex in the future for any other electrical work we need done.

Currently working on a basement Reno project and Mapleleaf electric was the contractor I chose for my electrical work. Out of all my quotes the price seemed really reasonable and they looked very committed to get the job as well. They brought all the necessary equipment and had wired everything up. They also passed the cat5 Internet wires and cable wires before drywall came on. They completed all that needed to be done; and wasn't charged extra for anything. Very happy with service and will definately recommend them to all homeowners looking for an electrician.

This review is long overdue. We had pot lights, soffit lights, and other electrical work done in our new home by Alex and his team a while ago. Their prices were competitive and we were happy with the overall job. They cleaned up after themselves and worked hard to finish everything in 1 day. Glad he was able to fit us into his very busy schedule!

Alex and his crew re-wired our whole home in August when we purchased it. At that point, we hadn't taken down the basement ceiling, but did so recently. We found several electrical issues we (and they) could not have known about before. Alex and his crew came in, removed and replaced improper wiring, and re-located junction boxes. They did so quickly, on budget, and cleaned up afterwords. I'll continue to use, and recommend Maple Leaf for any electrical work we, or our friends and family may need.

I had gallery lights installed in a room designated for my paintings and sculptures. I expressed my preference in the placement of the lights, and Adolfo expressed his knowledge and expertise and gave me a few reasons why the placement should be changed. To my surprise he was right, and I am extremely content with Adolfo's suggestions. The type of lights that were chosen are perfect. This room is my favourite room in the house - the light gives it such elegance and life. As an artist I will say that your work is an Art. Thank you Adolfo.

My wife and I really wanted to have pot lights installed in our home but we were hesitant because we didn't want our ceilings damaged. Alex, Tyler, Ken and the rest of the team were definitely the right guys for the job. We were really picky about light placement and we didn't want any additional holes in our ceiling. These guys came through on both fronts! They were courteous and professional from start to finish and we will definitely be calling them back for any future electrical needs. 10's across the board!
