Requested molly maid to come in a clean some cupboards in a renovated kitchen. They cleaned 2 bathrooms really well but some how missed the cupboards. When I called to complain I was told the workers who had come insisted they were cleaning the cupboards for an hour. First of all it wasn't an hour job. The cupboards were brand new just needed wood dust and dirt cleaned out. Upon inspection nothing had been done. If that is clean to them then they are in the wrong line of work I dont recommend this company

They take your credit card info before they come and don’t do work you pay them to do. Tell you they don’t have time to do most things a much cheaper cleaning woman or man would routinely do for half as much money per hour. Then as soon as you leave they take off and make up stories about things like cockroaches and insects and say you have to pay them $110 for 90 minutes of work. They think that finding one insect or a little gel in your home gives them the right to leave immediately and charge you for 90 minutes, regardless of how little time or work they did.

* This is not a review of the girls who clean and work for molly maids, they have a difficult job being scheduled to work in houses without sufficient time. * This is a review of our experience as a Molly Maid customer who left because they were so unreliable. you call the office. answer machine no one returns your call. you ring again its an answering service and leave a message no one get s back to you. you make arrangements for a clean and they do not turn up or come so late they don't have time to complete the job as you hoped. -- this is because someone tells the girls were to work and does not account for travel or the time it takes to clean a property. -- chaos. we moved on.

They are bit on the pricey side but they also do a great job. We've had Amanda and Deena clean our house prior to moving and and the place was almost unrecognisable. The ladies were friendly and absolutely amazing :)

Molly Maid charges approx 4x the market rate. You better be a cleaning superhero to charge this kind of money. First off, the superheros don't remove their wet, muddy shoes in the house. Even tradespeople and delivery people remove their shoes, but cleaners don't? Bizarre. Unfortunately the cleaning superheros don't have many of their own supplies. They have to use mine. Nevermind. I gave the superheros clear instructions of what I want to be cleaned and how. After the allotted time, cleaners say 'bye we're done' and leave.It is then I discover that most of the things I asked to be done were... not done. At least they didn't hang around for a tip. One of the things they were asked to clean was a marble countertop. A specific cleaning product was given to clean this. As any experienced cleaner would know, marble is easily damaged. Well, Molly Maid used the wrong cleaner and now I have an 'antiqued' countertop. The cost of replacing this RUINED countertop ($2000 or more) well exceeds the cost of the cleaning. So my only recourse is to come to HomeStars and warn potential clients: YOU WOULD BE COMPLETELY INSANE TO PAY THESE SCAMMING IMBECILES TO CLEAN YOUR HOUSE.

When my husband suggested we hire Molly Maid to replace our cleaning lady, I was a bit perplexed, but it turns out that the ladies are great and they do a wonderful job every week. The house is neat and clean every time they leave. Also if I ask them to do something different they always try to help me!
