Dear Ben, As you know we were so delighted with our basement that hiring your company for our main floor renovation was not a question. Having said that you and your company have literally blown us away! Once again the project management was outstanding; Larry managed all the trades and guided us throughout the whole renovation. The cabinetry exceeded our expectations, thank you Ben for taking such great care of our home. Our next project will be our upstairs bathroom …guess who we will be calling!

Purchased a voucher from a groupbuying website for 2 hours of handyman services from the Home Improvement People. Wanted to remove the side panel of a wooden fence and to convert the panel removed into a door to allow access to the side of my house in the backyard. The handyman who showed up was very pleasant, but could have done a better job. Called Dan from the Home Improvement People and told him of my experience, he explained that they specialize in interior renovations such as kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Dan told me that they do not do the type of work that I wanted, but since I purchased a voucher for 2 hours of Handyman services, they sent someone. Dan wanted me to be satisfied, so he rectified the situation, I am very impressed with Dan and the Home Improvement People, customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to them.

Ben, firstly I want to offer my apologies for taking so long to send this letter! Secondly I can tell you that 3 years later we are still completely thrilled with our renovation. From the 2.5 bathrooms that still look brand new, to the finished basement that is now cozy, warm and comfortable, to the renovated kitchen that still wows our friends and neighbours when they walk into it, they all demonstrate the fine workmanship that went into each job and the great bunch of contractors that you have such a great relationship with. Ron the electrician took the time to make sure that every plug, light switch and fixture was in just the right spot as we discussed and the pots lights make everything look right. The tile and carpeting guys did a fantastic job on the floors, and our basement has never been warmer thanks to the spray foam insulation that thankfully we decided to proceed with after discussing with you. Your cabinetry guys worked at length with us to design a fantastic new kitchen that incorporated everything that we have wanted for the last 20 years. Of course none of this would have been possible without the expertise of your general contractor Larry who was always such a pleasure to deal with and made sure that every detail had been completed to our satisfaction. We needed to have our ensuite shower redone as it was leaking. We contacted several companies and The Home Improvement People were the only ones to answer our e-mails. Kris came assessed the situation, gave ideas and a very reasonable estimate. We are so pleased with the work Kris did. We really love the new shower. Gerhard and his crew were great. We had a complete bathroom gut due to a leaky pipe...they replaced all the affected pipe, tiled and assembled a new shower , painted and basically did a great job. They came back to fix a tiny issue with no complaint.
