PBP just completed a high quality reno of my main bathroom.....the quality of contractor workmanship and products is awesome...now they will begin basement reno so will do review again when that more extensive work is complete. I highly recommend this long time family business....have been impressed since my first meeting with Lewis and Steve and Iggy.

Old concrete slabs removed, 4 ft sidewalk built across front of house, along side and a few meters at back of house to increase access with wheelchair or support helper. Front stairs reconstructed, solid handrails installed. Top quality work, we will definitely be doing more projects with this company. Already requested quote for rear patio next year. Special thanks to the workers Malik and Jerry for respectful, professional work.

I was looking in getting the roof single replaced. While at the cottage I received a call from Permanent Building Product asking if I was looking for an renovation. I mention that I was looking to get the cottage shingles replaced. She then set up an appointment with Brian co owner of Permanent Building Products. I meet up with Brian around May 15th 2022 and he provided me a cost to do the roof in singles and in metal. At that time my wife and I were given a couple of days to see which roofing material we were going to use. We meet up with Brian at my home on May 22 2022 and at that time sign a contact had had to provide a deposit of $1690. I was told he would have someone there in the next couple of days to do the measurements. On July 13th I received a call from Gary another co owner of Permanent Building Products telling that they would not be able to do my roof in steel as I have moss on my roof. He said that he had sent three different roofer up to the cottage and all refused to do the roof. You would think that if there was a problem it wouldnt take two months to communicate this to a customer. I had another roofer who could of had my roof done this year but choose to use Permanent Building Products as the other company does not do metal roofs. Know that it is middle of July my roofs will not be repaired. Co owner Brian does not provide his cell phone number and even when you leave a message does not even return calls. During conversation with Gary yesterday he said the could do shingles at the price they estimated. I received an email this morning real professional stating they would not be doing this either. I called Gary at his office he mentioned that he would send me a cheque for my deposit and said he was sorry but he wasnt going to do the job and lose money. They provided me the estimate. Stay clear as you can tell they really wanted my business . My roofs on my three building were re shingled by a roofer locally who has been in business for 40 years. No damage was noted on any of the building. Dont know who they sent up to look even if they ever did. I guess it tells you deal with a roofing company not a general contractor who sign a legal contact is provided a deposit back out of it after holding the deposit for a month.

We got the windows done for our main floor and they did a great job. We dealt with Brandon and he was very helpful through the process. Overall, the service was great and I would highly recommend reaching out to Brandon if you are considering any renovations. Our windows look fantastic!

The work was done on time and the work crew was well organized and kept me appraised of their progress. They cleaned up the site and restored everything to its original state. There is no water seeping into the basement anymore.

The workers were very professional. They explained all the work that were doing on my house to me. They cleaned up every day. Les who coordinated everything was very easy to deal with and i was very comfortable that all of the work would be done properly. They didn’t cut any corners. Everything that they said they would do they did. I would highly recommend Permanent Building Products

Les and his team knew what needed to happen to help solve my water leaking problem and upgrade my eavestroughs. Each job took about half a day to complete and I am very happy with the results. I look forward to reaching out to Permanent Building Products for their expertise and future work.

We needed some tall tree trimming, stump removal and sod installation in our frontward. Les did a great job coordinating all the work. Everything was done in time and to our expectations.
Les also took care of a new awning installation to our front door, that looks really nice and structural solid. The job was done in time, and neat.
Les also arranged for our gutter replacement and leaf guard installation.

We are very satisfied in the way that Les coordinates all the work, hires competent people, and is always on site to properly explain to the constructors the job that we want to be done and to check that everything is properly performed. All garbage was removed and all the job done in time.
It is really a piece of mind working with him, since once we singed the contract, he takes care of everything.
