Had an issue with a Lysol cleaning plastic piece ending up in our toilet, causing it to not flush and drain correctly. Plumber Chad provided friendly, efficient service. He was very helpful in addressing our toilet issue and explained everything he was doing it. Price was fair and I appreciated that he started with the "least expensive, least invasive" method first.

I was thoroughly impressed by the professional service that I received from Mr. Rooter's staff and especially plumber Louis B. I thought I was looking at the expense of having my main sewer line replaced but after a camera inspection, it showed that I had a major clog in my P-trap which Louis was able to clear very quickly. I will use Mr. Rooter again in the future and highly recommend them to all. Kim R.

I've used Mr. Rooter in Toronto a few times and after moving to St.Catharines recently called them to look at a few things in our new house. I got a call about half an hour before the plumber was going to arrive, which was great because they didn't give me a 4 hour window where I needed to be waiting at home. "Jamie C." was the plumber who arrived. He took off his shoes before he came in, I showed him the problem (leaky shut off under the sink and gurgling noise). He said they were both easy fast fixes even though they were in a really tight small space. He asked if I had any other questions and I did, just some minor things in the bathroom and outside faucet. He was very friendly, answered all my questions and did the work I requested fast and was tidy about it. It's been very consistent with all my Mr. Rooter experiences which is why I like using them even though they might cost a bit more than an independent plumber. All the plumbers who have worked on my homes have been courteous and extremely forthright.

Had this company clear main drain and scope out drain. Paid for insurance on drain only to be informed that 100.00 dollars I paid is only for a 15 percent discount which plumber didn't inform us. Also the city will scope your drain for free once a year. I'm sure this company also is aware of this. If you have problems call the city they will do it for half price. I would never use this company. Just a cash grab.

I had a leak from my 2nd story bathroom tub which ran down the inside of the walls to the main floor kitchen. I called Mr. Rooter and they sent someone who came and said the issue wasn't severe and would be a simple fix. So they "fixed" the issue and the next day when using the bathtub again more water came pouring down the inside of the walls, this time destroying most of the drywall and even ending up in the basement. I called REPEATEDLY for THREE WEEKS trying to get a hold of a manager or someone to try and see what we could do about it and if they could help with the cost of repair because they did not fix what they were supposed to and of course charged me. EVERY SINGLE TIME I called to try and speak to a manager someone else would tell me there's no one there to speak to. They never called me back once in the three weeks I was trying to reach them. The manager I spoke to in the very beginning of the job wouldn't answer his phone or return calls either ONCE. It was the WORST! customer service I have ever experienced. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They fixed my leaking toilet at one of my rented house located in Cambridge. I am pleased with the service and happy with mike for doing such a quick job on the weekend. I would definitely called them again for any services needed in future. thanks

On Aug. 16 water was continuously running out of the tap when I tried to turn off the water after showering. I had to turn off the main water valve in the house to stop the water running out. I called Bernie & Sons Plumbing to have someone come to the house, but all their plumbers were busy that Friday afternoon. I told Sherrie that, in order for the 3 of us in our house to use any water through the weekend, I would greatly appreciate if she could put an URGENCY on my request. She called back shortly after to say that she had managed to get a plumber from Mr. Router, which occupies the space next to Bernie's business. When I asked the fee for labour, she said both companies charge a flat fee for labour & materials depending on the job done. Since I was in no position at that time to get any other plumber, I agreed to have Ryan from Mr. Router come within the half hour. Ryan showed me the standard flat rate for labour & material included & I wrongfully assumed it included the HST when I asked him. He replaced the single handle cartridge and was very polite & tidy in his work. Since any plumber I've used before usually charges a fee/hour & material plus HST, I still don't know if this flat fee quoted me was a fair price or not, since the labour & material were not separated in the quote. My problem was solved to my satisfaction. In looking on their website after, I noticed that Mr. Router does not stipulate that the flat fee they quote does not include taxes. Also, there was a $25 coupon off the job had I printed it before Ryan arrived. I phoned Sherrie back at Bernie's to thank her for the referral to Mr. Router & explained that on both Bernie's and Mr. Router's websites there was no mention of taxes included in their flat price quoted on their plumbing. I also mentioned that, as a first-time customer, I felt I should have been told there was a $25 reduction on the website at the time she booked Ryan to come. She spoke to Mr. Router and, without any hesitation, they agreed to refund me $25 and agreed that, in the future, the flat price quoted should mention that taxes are extra. In conclusion, I had a good experience with Mr. Router, but suggested that they should be clear in their advertising & flat fee quoted on arrival that HST is extra. I felt the price was somewhat high for the job, but have no means to compare it to a quote of labour$/hour + material. An all inclusive price without a breakout is new to me.

I was given a quote from Mr Rooter for about 2 hours of work, and wanted to charge me roughly $900 to do it. I decided to call another company (Cornerstone Plumbing Solutions Inc.) and they quoted me just under $350. Much cheaper! I would only recommend Mr Rooter if you are willing to pay for their overpriced work!

I called Mr. Rooter to fix a number of plumbing issues that had accumulated over time. Chad was punctual, friendly, and professional with a deep knowledge of his field. He gave options for repair along with his own recommendations. He performed the repairs expertly and took the time to answer the many questions I had, and explained the warranty on the work. If you have any plumbing work and want a professional to do the job right the first time, I would highly recommend giving Mr. Rooter a call, and ask for Chad if you are in this geographic area. I have been using Mr. Rooter for years and have always been pleased with their work.

I had a catastrophic leak in my bathroom. Chad was exceptionally good at immediately identifying the problem and provided several options for replacement/repair. Chad was called to my home on a previous occasion and he provided excellent service at that time as well.
