My Move with Phillips was great. Amanda was extremely helpful, provided me with complete information and guidance prior to the move, and the move team- Donald, Rosario and Junior- was fantastic. They were very careful, extremely efficient, arrived on time and completed the move in excellent time- They did an initial and final checks, ensured that I confirmed that nothing was left in the truck, and I highly recommend them. I would not hesitate to use Phillips for my future moves.

I used Phillips Moving & Storage to move from Barrie to Toronto. Worst move of my life!!! In spite of the fact that their representative did a full house walk through and pre-evaluation of contents to be moved, on moving day, they brought a truck that was much too small and I had to leave pieces of furniture behind. My daughter and I had both of our cars crammed full, and we still had to make the one-hour drive north the next day to pick-up our belongings that were left behind because they could not fit them on the truck. Plus, they broke several of my large decor pieces. One of the men was very unprofessional complaining about the heaving lifting and going up and down the stairs. Add to this the fact that my move was a very emotional one due to divorce, made it even worse. The move cost me over $1,700 ($400 over the quoted price) plus I paid insurance, and after sending in my complaint to the company I never heard a word. I will be moving again in the near future and will definitely not use Phillips Moving & Storage and would not recommend them to anyone.

We have gone over our records very carefully. We cannot determine who this customer is to help right this situation. We did do some moves from Barrie in the past year and all those customers were very pleased with our service. We invite this reviewer to please contact us so that we will help them in any way possible. Customer service has always been top priority for us and we hope this reviewer gives us the chance to respond to them. We are fair and responsible, and this review is misplaced.

Everyone at Phillips Moving and Storage was really friendly, helpful and efficient. Everything about the move was positive. However, there was one thing I wish I knew happened at the time. They utilized used mattress bags. It didn't dawn on me until much later that since I wasn't charged for the bags they were used bags. Overall, the entire day went as perfect as it could have gone. I spent the entire week worrying about nothing. Thank you!

The crew was very friendly, took into account my input on how things should go, no issues whatsoever about damaging either house when moving out or in. It was very helpful for Phillips to allow me to borrow some runners a day in advance in order to protect our floor when appliances were delivered.We would recommend Phillips Moving and Storage

The crew was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional, had no issues.They took the chance to use runners and pads to protect my furniture, it arrived in good condition. Amanda was awesome and super helpful. She took time to make sure that I knew when my bags were coming, and provided me updates. In addition, she was great to speak with. I would recommend Phillips

Very friendly and professional service, they made moving out of my university home (2-bedroom apartment in downtown toronto all the way to vaughan) a virtually stress-free operation! Making the appointment took less than 5 minutes and they were very understanding of my needs - i appreciated the call the day before to reconfirm our appointment. I also ordered several large boxes from them to store textbooks/clothing and other personal effects in during the transit and these arrived promptly. Also fantastic for a bit of the chat as I rode with the driver in the front! Prices for both the packing supplies and actual moving service were easy on the wallet as well - will definitely use again :)

IT WAS A PLEASURE WORKING WITH YOUR TEAM. RIGHT AWAY FROM THE START, THE PERSONABLE AND PROFESSIONAL PERSONALITY OF AMANDA, MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH PHILLIPS! SHE FOLLOWED UP ON EVERY ISSUE AND MADE CERTAIN THAT OUR MOVING NEEDS WERE TAKEN CARE OF IN EVERY DETAIL! WORKING WITH MICHAEL, ROSARIO AND FREDA WAS ALSO A PARALLEL EXPERIENCE! EACH ONE KNEW THEIR JOBS AND WORKED AT A SPEED THAT WOULD RIVAL ANY COMPETITION! THEY ALL GOT ALONG AND WORKED WELL AS A TEAM! THEY ASKED QUESTIONS IF THEY WERE NOT CERTAIN OF WHAT WENT WHERE AND MADE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE LESS OF A HASSLE! WE DID NOT MOVE FURNITURE, JUST PERSONAL ITEMS, BUT THEY PACKED EVERYTHING WELL AND NOTHING WAS DAMAGED. I WOULD ENJOY WORKING WITH THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!

Terrible move. More than double the estimate, slowest movers I've ever seen. Finally to the point where (after it was 4 hours longer than estimate) we moved things off the truck by ourselves and put the movers to shame. They said "But it was the second floor", which of course was part of the estimate in the first place. We moved 90 minutes away in our last move, emptied an entire house aznd it was all done start to finish in less than 6 hours and half the cost. The movers dropped most boxes wherever regardless of what was written on them. It took them about 10 minutes per box, and often they came all the way from the truck, up the stairs and into the apartment with one shelf in their hands, or a small box. Joke. Never again.

Well, Scott, it's too bad you feel that way, but Kate did say that the guys worked very hard. Based on the inventory given over the telephone you were only moving about 4000 lbs, and that we would need to send a small truck for it to fit in the underground parking. Even so, the origin and destination were only 10 minutes apart, so that extra trip added minimal time, even though we chose that truck based on the information we were provided. However, as a courtesy we refunded you one hour for that. You were not packed when the crew arrived, so they helped with that. The crew was stuck inside the elevator at destination for 2 hours...They also had to wait for the elevator because another truck was using the loading dock (and they also got stuck in the elevator) On their return to your origin residence the new tenants were moving in, your things still were not all packed, and because of that, the crew had to carry single items and were told just to get things out quickly. It's very important to have everything packed and ready to go to keep the costs efficient. I must say your move was a nightmare for everyone involved, unfortunately, and I am truly sorry for you and Kate; but it wasn't our fault that it was a nightmare. The men worked very hard. (and the cost was actually under $2000)
