Window and Door Replacement

Windows were installed on a very cold day. Things went well for contractors but there was quite a bit of damage to siding and interior dry wall / paint meaning we will have to do quite a bit of painting and hole filling a our own cost. A couple windows also had cracked frames and the big picture window had a gauge in it. Doors installed a month later but after ordering found out we had to supply hardware. This was surprising. Back door went in looks great but front door was a challenge as they were unable to install hardware on a door style they had marketed to us. So currently only have a deadbolt installed, no handle and door has to be leaned on in order to lock it. Also noticed after two days rubber stopper at base is coming off already. Now waiting to hear back on when reapirs, door handle will be put in.

Had warranty guy out, he informed all damage to house siding, paint and drywall is our problem and part of the install, though he was surprised they installed on such a cold day. The picture window was flagged to be replaced and one bedroom window will have cracks re-welded. Rest of windows okay for now.

So far quite unimpressed as were were expecting to have no damage to house, no issues with windows and doors. So far everything they have done has problems and is need of repairs or completion. We are very disappointed. But hopefully in the next week or so things will be rectified. Fingers crossed.

Replaced 26 windows

We used all weather windows and Mike was our representative who measured and sold our windows. He was very personable and helpful. Rob and Dave were our installers and they were absolutely wonderful. Our windows were replaced in the last week of November 2023 and I was very nervous about this. Rob and Dave reassured me that all will be well. They came Monday and the job was to be finished by Friday. They laid out the expectations very clearly and I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they worked. We had no issues with measurements and everything went like clockwork. I am so pleased with the job that they did and I can tell you after the cold snap that we just had what an improvement in keeping our house warm and our windows frost free. Thank you so much All Weather Windows! I am very excited about getting my doors replaced and hope to see Rob and Dave again for this job.

Do NOT use!!!

Please do not use if you value your time, money and sanity!!! Go with an independent small shop instead, who will show more attention to detail and be more concerned about the customer experience! I ordered the replacement of 18 windows in the spring of 2023. In May 2023, the windows were delivered to my house. Once the installers arrived, they quickly noticed that all the windows were measured wrong, and would have to be re-ordered. Not a big deal, right? It happens? If that was the end of it, no big deal. However, that was just the beginning of an ordeal that has still not been resolved.

In June, the re-ordered windows come in, and they are able to replace all but one, because one of the new windows is defective. So they told me they need to reorder it. OK, not ideal, but whatever. Come September, the new window comes, and is installed. Within the first week, we notice a large crack in that window, so we call them and they have to reorder again. October comes, and they bring the new window to install, however, once again, it was measured incorrectly (why they didn't use the correct measurements from the summer, I don't know). So they have to reorder again. November comes around, and again they bring the new window, and once again, the installer notices it's the wrong window measurements. This time they promise they will ensure quality control is done on the next manufacturing process.

Well, here we are in December, and the new window was supposed to be installed today, and once again, I received a call that the window wasn't manufactured correctly. If you've lost count, that is now 6 times the window was supposed to be installed, but wasn't.

I think anyone would agree that I've been extremely patient with them, moreso than others would be in the same situation. But because of that, I've waited over half a year for one window. I'm extremely disappointed not only in their manufacturing process, but moreso their attention to detail, and internal processes. It appears there is no pride in their work, no processes to ensure quality, and a lack of competencies.

Hi Sumeer, thank you for your feedback. This is definitely not the level of customer service that we strive to provide and we thank you for alerting us to this issue. We are currently working with our management to have the glass manufactured in order to have it replaced before the end of the week. We will take your feedback into account to improve our internal processes, so thank you again for sharing. Best, Fay

Picture Window Replacement

Noticed this summer that my picture window had lost its seal. After contacting All Weather Windows and working with Shamika, we were able to track down the original purchase order information and get a new window ordered. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that I was only going to have to pay for installation, and no cost for the window itself (their site says the cost of warranty replacement will be prorated).
Had the window installed this morning by Earl, in no time at all.
Kudos to All Weather Windows. The customer service was excellent. Would highly recommend them.

Many Reporting Errors

I own a home in which this company had installed windows. Andy came to inspect my windows as there was a lot of ice buildup, even all the way around the window, and one window even had snow blowing in. He told me that my weather stripping on the window was in excellent condition, for its age. I pointed out that I had removed some weather stripping as it was in poor condition as I wanted to match it and replace it. He then noticed the missing weatherstripping. He stated my window was in good condition and that it was normal to have cold air blowing in. He suggested I blow a fan at the window to keep the ice from building up. I said I didn't think it was normal to have to point a fan at my window in winter to keep the ice from building up , but he insisted my window was in good working condition. I asked if it was normal to have snow blowing in and he said he couldn't see that. I mentioned that it was currently summer and that's why he couldn't see snow blowing in, however I did have pictures that I had submitted. In the report he wrote he stated I had poor airflow in my home and high humidity which contributed to the ice buildup. I asked for clarification on the poor airflow as I have ceiling fans and kitchen and bathroom fans. I asked how I had high humidity as he hadn't tested it using a hydrometer (a tool for measuring moisture in the air) and I was told that his findings were based on experience and multiple other factors. I actually tested my home for humidity using a hydrometer and my home is on the low end of average. I did ask why Andy did not use his equipment to measure the humidity instead of just stating an opinion, but I was never given an answer. Andy also reported that I had blinds and "heavy" curtains that contributed to the poor airflow and humidity. My curtains are not heavier than any other materials and I do not have blinds. I did note that the cracked plastic around my window was not mentioned at all and this company insists that my windows have not failed.

My impression is that this company will not guarantee it's work and will flat out make things up in order to not take responsibility for failing windows. In their website it states that ice buildup and air coming in the windows is reason for replacement. When they were in my home they told me it was normal. I have had 3 independent contractors in my home who all state that my windows were installed incorrectly and need to be replaced.

Whole house window replacement

I can't say how pleased I am regarding the windows and installation on my 1958 bungalow, way above my expectations!

From Mike the sales representative, the delivery guys and especially the installation crew of Ernie, Robert and Kathy. The house was left clean every day, the fit, finishing and speed was unbelievable. Very, very nice people as well! I am thrilled!

Replace windows and addition

Overall very disappointing. Two thirds (16 of 24) of the windows and\or doors were delivered with damaged frames and a transom window broken. None were not cleaned after being manufactured. Lots of silicone caked on the frames and glass. Took hours to clean. AWW took 12 weeks to figure out that they were not going to do anything to fix them until the windows were installed. Unfortunately had to pay for them prior to being delivered, otherwise would have not accepted them.
