    Horrible Customer Service...NEVER again!!

Previously, our condo board hired CSS to replace the carpets in our halls/stairways/landings. The workmanship was shoddy with bad seams and cuts. We contacted the store to fix the issues and they claimed to have sent someone to fix them however upon reinspection, none of these problems had been fixed. So after a lot of hassle getting someone to come out, Cam, who | believe is an owner or manager, met me there so I could personally point out to him the issues. I have NEVER been in the presence of such an arrogant, condescending person in all of my life. He was clearly defensive and the rude, snarky comments and attitude just dropped my jaw. Even when I asked him if that's the way he speaks to customers, he didnt back down one bit but continued to act like a first class A-hole, but I would not give him the satisfaction that he almost had me in tears . He clearly did not like to be challenged or the fact that someone pointed out the bad workmanship his store provided. Once someone came back to fix the issues he even emailed our property manager, he asking, " is it done to HER liking?" WOW, the point is not whether its done to ANYONE elses liking, its whether its done PROPERLY... PERIOD. I usually give companies second chances especially if the price is right, since we own several properties. However this is one company I will NEVER use again or recommend based on the fact that they do poor work after being paid thousands of dollars, then do NOT rectify the issues when they say they did, and finally to have to deal with such awful managers/owners.

    Living room/bedroom

I went to carpet superstore to get my living room and bedrooms done and am very pleased. They gave me a great price for the carpet I wanted and got it installed with no problems. Thank you!

    Carpet

I had purchased carpet from them around 7-10 years ago, quote included installation. I recently got a quote on carpet and underlay for my basement, I specifically asked if it included installation and the sales person said it did. I received no quote from the contractor when he did the measurements and the store had made no mention of extra cost for install. The installer was looking to be paid on the last day an extra $500 on top of my total quote. Apparently they have changed their policy but are still expecting me to pay this to the contractor for their miss-communication and with no installation quote provided. You will get nowhere with manager as he is very young and doesn't understand how to do good business.....so unfortunately I will not be a returning customer over their "miss-communication" MAKE SURE you ask and ask again!! If price includes install as their invoices have no mention of this and if the contractor doesn't give you a quote you will be extremely surprised!

    Carpet supply & install

We had a very good experience at Carpet Superstores in Edmonton Northwest. Brent was our salesman, and suggested several things based on our needs. Even more impressive was how they met our needs on install time. Our decision to put new carpet in our new house we purchased was very (very) last minute, and the only time we had available to do the install was the day after possession, with measuring the evening before. With the < 1 week notice they were able to accommodate our schedule without issue, thanks!

    Install carpet and flooring

The people at the warehouse were excellent and gave good information and product. The guys who installed the carpet were too rookie for the work. As we later noticed, the cuts were very poorly done near the walls and corners with gaps left in small sections. They gave us an initial estimate that was supposed to include underlay and seaming materials but then tried to add it on at the end. The lead guy was expert but his crew was so 'green' that the job was way below par of what I would call professional. I would buy the product from the store but I would never get installation from them again.

    Flooring Supply

I was looking around for a good price on flooring in the Edmonton area and came across Carpet Superstores. I spoke with Sheila there and she was great! She helped me find the items I was looking for and at a price I wanted. They mainly had the carpet in stock so I had to go around to other places to find the hardwood and tile I wanted, tell them the items, and have them bring it in. All in all, a very good experience with them. If you need carpet, they are easy to work with. If you need other flooring, it may require a bit more work on your part to find the items (especially tile), but in the end their service was great.

    Carpet for my home.

I got a great deal on a roll end for my bedroom. The sales staff was very friendly, and they made sure I got something nice and plush like I wanted. I had someone else installing the carpet, and the store help it for my contractor for a few days untill it could be picked up. I'll be looking there again if I need more carpet.

    installation of laminate flooring

When we needed to replace our 20 year old carpet, we looked to Carpet Superstores. Carpet Superstores had a wide selection of carpet, laminate floors, hardwood, linoleum, bamboo, and commercial rugs. We checked out Carpet Superstores especially because Craig Simpson, a former Edmonton Oiler player owns the Superstores. Today's fashion for floor coverage is laminate flooring. We choose that style instead of the traditional carpet. Carpet Superstores is a very competitve business as we found their quality to be very high with affordable prices. If we ever need to replace any more carpets or flooring, we would definately check out Carpet Superstores.

purchased carpet from the store and had it installed by them

My daughter and I went to the store and worked with the salesperson to choose the carpet needed. Weicky but the salesperson was very patient, pleasant and helpful. He gave us really good advice about types of carpet and steered us from the most expensive carpet (which I really appreciated!). The installers arrived on time and installed the carpet very quickly. I am very impressed with Carpet Superstore.

    Carpet Superstore

I went into the store to purchase and have some carpet installed going into my basement. I asked (at least twice) whether the installer would be gluing the carpet to the stairs, and I was assured that is what he'd do. The installer was in my home today and he stapled the carpet to the stairs - and when asked, said it would be much more expensive to glue it down. And when I returned to the store to ask about it, I did not get a satisfactory answer at all - just really that stapling it down is better. Well OF COURSE they would say that...right?
