I love soapstone. It was the only natural stone I wanted for my kitchen. The problem, there are two fabricators in the toronto area. Although the product is lovely and the workmanship perfection be preparred to deal with Noreen and her policies. She is unflexible, unfriendly and does not deserve to be selling this beautiful product. I value customer service, it is what truely gets a company a good rating. Please try Green Mountain Soapstone in St Cathrines. They were great and I wish I gave them my business! ADDED:Our soapstone arrived and was installed. We continued to experience poor service, including a wild goose chase around the city, trying to collect something they forgot to bring with our original order. This is not just my perception, I was warned by others. Please take my warning seriously.

We opted for a soapstone countertop with an undermount sink. N & G is a small family run business and stands by their product and attention to detail. The installation was a smooth success, everything we expected. Although the countertop was a bit expensive, the overall result was worth the extra money.

We just added a significant kitchen extension to our century old home. I've always wanted soapstone counters and ours from N+G are truly beautiful! The stone slab selection is vast, the customer service is exceptional, and the installation was flawless. My favourite feature is our beautiful soapstone sink!
