My wife just recently had hip surgery and it was important to get her into an adjustable bed to help her heal. We drove into the city and went to Halstead and they were able to help both of us out. We did some computer mapping to show us what mattress was best for us and we both got something different. She was able to get a firm but supportive side and i was able to get something a bit softer. Both of us were more than happy with the service and product and are please we were able to make this switch prior to her coming home from the hospital.

Replacement hideaway bed mechanisms. We are a small family vacation rental business in Canmore, Alberta. We don’t have the facility to store spare mechanisms for our hideaway beds in our condos. So we have been delighted to find Halstead Mattress. On several ocations they have been able to help us with replacement mechanisms for our hideaway beds at very short notice. None of the replacement units, which they have supplied have broken and the units supplied are of a far superior quality to the originals. Unfortunately being rental condos the mechanisms do get some abuse. Halstead Mattress have also supplied us with new pillow tops for our hideaways and this has helped tern them into a much more comfortable bed. Being nearly an hours drive from Calgary we greatly appreciate the supreme effort put in by all the staff at Halstead Mattress to supply and install the mechanisms. It is extremely important for us, to replace broken units as soon as we can, otherwise we could be missing out on bookings and letting our guests down. Our couch was almost 4 months late and we constantly had to call for updates. When we complained about the lack of communication, we just got a bunch of excuses and no apologies. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. They have no concept of customer service and seem perfectly ok with doing very poor work. Stay away!

Michelle, We are a bit perplexed that you felt it necessary to post something regarding your experience with Halstead when we feel we have tried really hard to help you in every way possible. The fact that the fabric was back ordered is out of our control as much as it is yours and it is very much out of the ordinary for a fabric to be unavailable for that length of time. When we found out it was on B/O we contacted you offering you to reselect fabric or refund your deposit and you said at that time you would wait for the back order to come in. We attempted to ease the burden by providing you with a loaner piece of upholstered furniture until your order was complete, after the discussion regarding the original loaner provided was not suitable for your décor and also not consistent with the size of your sectional that was being produced; we swapped out the original loaner for a sectional we produced solely for you to match your décor and room configurations. I feel this is actually a level of service that would surpass most expectations. We aggressively advocated on your behalf to have the fabric provided as soon as it became available and continued to do so through the process. We offered to cancel the fabric protection at the plant as an option-not to sacrifice the quality but to simply offer an alternative to expedite completion (saving approx 4-6 weeks) you declined this and decided to wait. Once the fabric was completed at the fabric protection plant we transported it air for you out of the USA again to expedite the order. We gave you a communication schedule as to when we would be touching base with you on your order a communication schedule you said was acceptable, every date was met either on the date or prior to the expected date. When we told you your order was complete and ready for delivery you mentioned those dates were not convenient and pushed the delivery back a week. We understand your frustration but feel we dealt with this difficult situation as best that we can and will endeavor to continue to give you a high level of customer service. Halstead made us a fantastic mattress, we're very tall people and they made us a California king size mattress and did it custom to our bed (tall boxspring). We each got the type of mattress we wanted, I have a soft foam, husband has a medium coil and there's a soft pillowtop over it. No complaints, they were great to deal with, local and inexpensive.

We are thrilled with our custom hide-a-bed sectional that we ordered from you at Halstead that was designed for our RV - Park Model in BC. The sofa and the mattress are very comfortable and due to the fact that we ordered custom, we were able to match the fabric perfectly to our décor. Not to mention, we maximized a tight space by their recommendations to build exactly to required measurements. End result – fits like a glove!! I used to have shoulder pain from my old mattress so when I went to Halstead they had advanced mapping techniques to figure out which mattress type and insert would be best suited for me. It took out all of the guess work, and I have been having a great night sleep ever since. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new mattress to check out Halstead, they were awesome!

My husband and I purchased our Ha;stead mattress 15 years ago and still love it! We have since purchased beds for our four children and highly recommend them! As well, when we bought our home, we pruchased living room furniture from Halstead and LOVE IT!!!!!! I will never have any other furniture in my living room! Almost forgot! Pillows are awesome too!

From guest bedroom mattresses, to adjustable beds for our Master bedroom, to custom built love seats and chairs our experience with Halstead has been extraordinary. Martin was knowledgeable about the products he would be using for our furniture and made suggestions that fit our lifestyle. A followup call was received from Michelle to ensured we were happy with our furniture, that the delivery was timely and completed satisfactorily and to see if there was anything more they could do for us. I have recommended Halstead to many of my friends who have also had great service from the Halstead team. Why would I shop anywhere else??

We find our split adjustable beds to be very comfortable and find the separate settings and positions to be very relaxing. We have had the beds for a number of years now and we are getting the best rest we have ever hade. The split beds also allow for a variation in mattress choices which enhances the entire package.
