Orkin Pest Control

Called regarding a problem with carpenter ants. They came out a few times and would continually do the same thing, spray. That didn't work the first time or any subsequent times. They said there was nothing they could do but spray. didn't offer any solutions on what to do to stop the problem. The people that came to my house were nice and professional but the didn't help fix this issue

December 8/17--representative came to house to deal with mouse droppings in kitchen drawers. He said he could not pull out the dishwasher where he felt the problem began. He checked under the sink, complimented me on my steel wool around pipes and basement, told me to rearrange wood outside, left three bait stations and left. Co. should have told me they do not move appliances before sending someone out. Called company on 11/17 to complain, left message, still no call back to date i.e. 13/17. Very unhappy customer!

I had an irrational fear that I had picked up bedbugs.
The operator talked me out of having a dog inspection, stating that the cheaper visual inspection was probably all I needed given I had little evidence of bedbugs. Thumbs up on that. I had oversold myself the opposite way: 'I must have super special bedbugs that only a dog would find'
They had someone come by within the day. They sent Lindsay, who typically works K9, for visual.
Lindsay was amazing. She was caring, knowledgeable and knew how important it was to me to have a thorough search although she found no signs. She kept looking until she could definitively say I did not have a single sign of bedbugs.
She normalized the fear I had, showed me what she was doing or where to look in the future and never once made me feel like I was being ridiculous.
She valued my desire for discretion and privacy from my neighbours.
I walked her out and she showed me what I would look for in the future in her sample jars.
Orkin and Lindsay made something super stressful a whole lot easier. I really can't thank Orkin enough.
I did feel that had she found something, she would have been able to tell me what needed to be done in a way that I could handle. I knew confidently that Orkin would help me sort out whatever they did find. Which in this case: was making me relax and educating me on how to prevent, detect and manage any possible threat in the future.
If ever I freak out again, I won't hesitate to call.
Only complaint: if only they were available 7 days a week!

The :"mice inspection" conducted for Mr. Schmidseder was ridiculous he fill up some paper work and put some traps and took $510!! he didn't even check attic or anything else! is this a joke??

We had a rat come up through the toilet so we called them to come set up traps just in case. We were worried that it got in from outside. They were very professional, respectful and informative. He set up traps in the high risk areas and explained to us that the mice or rat will eat the poison and then go outside for air, and assured us we wouldn't need to clean out any traps.

I have a building (actually a large old house) with four units in it. Thankfully, we have never had roaches, rats or any of the 'bad' critters, but we have had mice and also carpenter ants (very hard to get rid of). Richard at Orkin is my saviour! He is VERY thorough and also very knowledgable in his craft and has kept our building 'clean' for several years now (we have signed on for the ongoing home protection plan). I HIGHLY recommend the nice folks at Orkin, namely Patricia in the office, and also Richard who is our technician.

their service man solved my issues within seconds ...i would have paid double. Technician was understanding, compensating personable . I will call again if ever required...Ultimatly i dont think i have to as he educated me so well
