To Albert from Oakville anyone else researching this retail appliance store. We have had a very similar experience with the Corbeil Appliance store in Oakville. We will never ever do business with them again. Our experience with this retail store started on Jan 12 and has been a nightmare. We ordered a GE refrigerator and wall convection oven from them and they missed the original delivery date and then re-scheduled the dates twice. I actually put them on speed dial to save time on the numerous follow-ups I was required to make because they never returned calls with the updates I had requested. When the appliances where finally delivered the refrigerator was not what we had ordered. I was told to keep the product that was delivered and they would provide us an exchange within 2 weeks. It is now March 07 and they still can't give me a delivery date. At this point I just want my money back and I will deal with a company that provides proper customer service and honours their comments to after sales service and customer satisfaction.

Worst customer service experience!! bunch of incompetent and dishonest jokers running the place. 1- They missed the delivery date and we're without a washer and dryer for a week. Very difficult with 2 young kids in the house 2- They scratched the appliance when they delivered them. 3- They've made many commitments to either replace the appliance or pay me some compensation, it's been a month now and nothing happened. 4- The person running the Mississauga store didn't follow up or follow through any of his 5 promises What a great example of dishonest business operation

Corbeil also sells kitchen cupboards. Similar to people's experience with appliances purchased there, after-sale service is non-existent. First, the cupboards arrived weeks later than the promised delivery date--some were damaged, and several components were missing. The salesperson who had sold me the kitchen was not helpful--ignored repeated voicemail messages and finally told me to contact someone at head office in Montreal! Do business with Corbeil at your own peril--I will never deal wih them again.

Having recently moving to a new house, I was told by a friend that Corbeil was an excellent place to buy appliances. I was in need of a few appliances so I thought I'd give it a shot. There's a fairly decent variety of brands of furniture and the store was relatively clean. My biggest gripe with the Innes location however are the workers, I do not know much about appliances so I went to an employee to inquire about a getting a stainless steel microwave and oven. He was not very enthusiastic at all, almost as if he didn't like his job. He responded to my questions with single-word answers and remarks that I wasn't fully satisfied with. Considering that they're selling appliances, I was assuming an accurate and knowledgable response, however I left unsatisfied and decided to do my research at home before buying a product. The selection of Corbeil's appliances are pretty good, but their customer service suffers.

We purchased a high end washer/dryer and a fridge from Corbeil. I was having problems with the fridge and left many, many messages. I was finally called back to be told "your Warranty is up". Did they purposely delay? I believe so. I asked my husband to never deal with Corbeil again but he didn't. He recently purchased a hood fan from Corbeil. It was installed, and there was a defect. We have now been waiting 9 days for service and Corbeil's answer... "maybe you should call them for the service...." NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Being a busy family of 4 when my washing machine died, panic set in!! After comparison pricing, I purchased a new machine from Corbeil in Pinecrest mall. My first surprise was that it would be delivered the very next day. When the delivery guys came, they disconnected the old machine and removed it, then they connected the new machine and even made sure it was level for me!! Thanks for the excellent service.
