Cil is a “keeper” for sure. There is no one like her. She transformed our 34 year old kitchen into something totally new by repainting the cabinetry and walls/ceiling. Cil is extremely thorough, does impeccable work, and adds the finishing touches over and above the contracted job to make things “just right”. As well, she has the perfect balance of offering her thoughts on how to make things better while, at the same time, following carefully her client’s wishes. Cil is reliable, shows up when she says she will, and leaves the site neat and tidy when she is finished. We would recommend Cil to anyone and would hire her again in a heartbeat. She is a true professional.

Awesomewood is a small company that is highly skilled and professional. They were punctual, the cleanest work people I have ever had, and most of all, they did beautiful work. They asked for our opinions while providing advice, demonstrated incredible attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities when adjustments had to be made to re-install original wood trim that had been removed. We highly recommend them for any work related to wood.

I had this little "ugly duckling" of a side table at our old cottage up north. It had potential, but was obviously abused in a previous life. It was wobbly, and the finish on it was shot. Karen took care of the structural problems superbly and Cil finished it to perfection...the ugly duckling is now a gorgeous swan. In fact, it looks so good now, I'm not sure I want to take it back up to the cottage! Thank you both for the obvious care and attention to detail you bring to your craft. I'm so glad I found you!

Cil and her partner do absolutely amazing work. They have refinished our previously beyond ugly 1800's bedroom suite to its former glory. Not only do they know how the old pieces should be constructed, they know where to find period replacement pieces such as screws for the drawer pulls that came from the UK over 150 years ago. They know their stuff, are detail oriented and are great to work with.
